Very kind and listens. Problem is the staff and lack of follow through etc. so upset that Dr Popa left the practice. All went to pot when Optima took over One Life and my family left as well. Problems with office fell on deaf ears.

Always listens and helpful best Doctor I have had in 75 years

My husband and I first met Dr. Popa when he was at the Banner office facility on Ironwood. We followed him when he went to One Life Medical Center in Queen Creek. He is an excellent care provider, listens carefully and follows through diligently. Since One Life was sold to Optima Medical, Dr. Popa has continued to be our primary care doctor there. We hope to continue as his patients, although there is currently an issue with acceptance of the Banner Health Network on our Medicare Advantage plan. We’re hoping Optima will work it out soon. We don’t want to change after all these years of being well cared for by Dr. Popa.

It appears that it is not possible to get through to you or Carol when needed, we can only leave a message. I missed my Dermatologist appointment yesterday, because your facility did not send a referral and I could not contact anyone at your office.

Very compasionate and bases your care plan on conversation during your physical exam.

If you are not picky then I would recommend this office. I am leaving because after tests , the office has not yet after 2 weeks sent my dentist a report of whether I am Healthy enough to have some teeth pulled and replaced. Their excuse was that they have not yet filed the paperwork Adios.

He is the best. Listen and treats all your concerns. Willing to respond to your suggestions. So far I'm very happy.

So thankful I found Dr Popa. I literally spent months in pain with another provider telling me "go home and drink water....I don't know what's wrong with you so I'm thinking outside the box". Seriously? Dr. Popa told me during my first visit that he would do everything he could to help me. Unlike the others providers I saw, he did exactly that. He listened patiently to everything I said, ordered tests, after I was told everything had been ruled out then referred me to a specialist to confirm his diagnosis. If I had chosen to "go home and drink water" I can't imagine the shape that I'd be in now. I'm on medication and heading back to living in normal life. I would highly recommend Dr. Popa to anyone who needs a good primary care physician.

Unfortunately my brother was going to change from this Dr., but his condition worsened and he passed away before he could.

I can't say enough good about Dr. Popa. He is the most personable, possessing a great bedside manner. He is well qualified in his profession having a strong knowledge base in family medicine. He listens, takes the time to answer any and all questions I may have. He genuinely cares about my health and me as a person, makes every effort to provide me with the best care possible. Offers referrals to specialists, when necessary, to the most qualified to meet my needs.

So happy to have found Dr. Popa. He listens and answers all my questions. I never feel rushed or that he is not concerned. All the office and medical staff have always been very professional and friendly.

TOP 10 Professional - caring - talks to you and LISTENS just left primary care MD after 5 yrs because I needed a serious surgery and could not seem current MD or speak with her Dr Poppa assured me that he is always there - one way or the other VERY beautiful office - My friend has been trying to get me to Dr Poppa for 4 yrs. HORRAY!! Won't leave I was in medical/dental for 40 yrs so I know what I am looking for.

We have been seeing Dr. Popa for about 7 years now and are so glad we found him. He literally saved my husband's life (suspecting bladder cancer, which was confirmed by testing). He is personable and truly cares about his patients. We will continue to see him for as long as he remains in this area. A very intelligent and caring man who has our deepest respect and trust.

I trust Dr. Popa in everything. He followed up on one of my concerns and after proper tests, contacted my husband to get me to the Hospital pronto. Most likely I am alive today thanks to him. Hollie is my favorite nurse in there but will admit the front desk leaves a little to be desired. Just have to ignore their indifference and attitudes.

Dr Popa is a very caring person. He's very attentive to all your needs and takes the extra time to go over everything with you. If I felt something wasn't quite right he never gives up. Very personable, easy to talk to. Staff is excellent too, love Holly, leave her a message she'll get back with you soon. Dr Popa has been our family doctor for 5 years. Highly recommend him. We are seniors and love how he cares for us.
