Dr. Cindy Tsai, MD

I recently saw that Dr. Tsai has remodeled herself as an author and speaker, I guess failing as a doctor lead her to this instead. I felt compelled to leave a review about the period that she was my PCP. She ordered two completely useless and expensive tests that are not covered by insurance, as they are considered scams. One cost hundreds of dollars and was an IgG food sensitivity test, which other doctors have looked at and told me that they are completely worthless. After this test, the only food I would have been able to eat was egg whites. Seriously. Only egg whites. Dr. Tsai was not concerned about this, and told me to avoid all the 'red foods', which was literally everything else. This led me to a severe case of depression, as you can imagine. Luckily I got a second opinion. The second test was for the presence of candidiasis. The test she ordered didn't even test for it and left me with a $1000 bill. In retrospect, I assume she was getting a kick-back on these tests.
