Dr. Willkomm is patient, asks the questions, probes, and provides the answers in a clear, concise and easy-to-use and understand and format. Everyone on his team, from Scheduling, through surgery, to recovery, then to follow-up is pleasant, courteous, and knowledgeable. I would, if needed, have Dr. Willkomm do any of my procedures in the future, and would highly recommend him and his team.

Excellent surgeon, excellent care. Had major surgery with Dr Willkomm. Showed urgency, care, and took the time to thoroughly explain everything to my wife and me. Terrific follow up post-op and again, took the time to properly evaluate next steps and advise on path forward. Great bedside manner. Shout out to PA Kristi who has also been excellent throughout the process.

My sister passed away 5 months after hernia surgery. Autopsy indicated death due to esophagus damage from prior surgery. Her hernia surgery was the only surgery she had.

If I could give zero stars, i would. Had colon surgery, came out of anesthesia screaming bloody murder from pain. Had ZERO feeling in my entire left leg, which I am still having problems with several years later and will require another surgery...he told me I needed to see my back specialist to find out why! I now need another spine surgery!! Did not explain much to me and treated me like I was an inconvenience!!! Steer very clear!!!

Dr. Willkomm is amazing!!!! He performed a hernia surgery on me Monday at Doctors Hospital and I was back to work on Tuesday with no pain meds and minimal discomfort. This was my first surgery and I was nervous, what a relief!!!! I would strongly recommend Dr. Willkomm to anyone.

Just Wow. This guy just blew all our expectations away. I was worried at first with a long wait time after checking in but within 5 mins with him you know why he could be late. He takes his time with you and you can tell he cares. He even drew pictures to help us understand all that was going to happen and did a wonderful job on my breast cancer. He even called us twice on different weekends to explain test results and reassure my wife. I will recommend this guy to anyone needing any type surgery.

Dr. Willkomm was recommended by my PCP because I didn’t know any surgeons here in Florida. I feel when I met Dr. Willkomm was one of my luckiest days. He was so personable that you really wanted to call him Chris but he was very professional. My surgery turned out to be more involved than I had expected but he handled it wonderfully. I’m doing very well currently. When I told folks who my surgeon was they all had said he’s great don’t worry, so I didn’t. My family and friend who waited after surgery for Dr. to explain how my surgery went they also were very impressed with Dr. Willkomm. All my follow visits in the hospital and office visits again I felt like I was his only patient. So if I could do anything I certainly would endorse him 100% and would be more than happy to have him do any kind of surgery that I might need in the future. So, thank you Dr. Willkomm for deciding to be a surgeon.
