Highly recommend Dr. Van Horn!!!

My 3 kids have been seeing dr Vanhorn for 5 years and he has been wonderful to work with. Takes time with them and listens. Has always been vigilant on managing their meds and addressing any adverse side effects quickly....as well as offering alternatives. I would like to remind people that he his a Psychiatrist... not a Psychologist. There’s a difference! Most often it takes both to be successful in treatment; A Psychiatrist to diagnose and manage medications and a Psychologist for counseling, behavior modification, and therapy. My kids have thrived under his and their therapists care!

I'm sad i even have to write a review. We have been going to Dr Vanhorn for 5ish yrs, we have been seen in last few months and now all the sudden we have an outstanding balance from Dec, which we have insurance and all the billing has to do is resubmit the claims which add up to about $600 and they refuse to do so. The insurance company tried calling the office manager to resubmit the claims and she refuses to do so, and they WILL NOT see the patient until its paid for so in the mean time she is

Dr Van Horn is the best Dr. I have ever met...kind, unbelievably smart, gentle.

I'm 29 & was a patient of Dr. VanHorn's for about half of my life.I honestly don't think I would've survived my teen years without his help.I had horrible reactions to most of the meds I tried & he always listened to me when I said I didn't like how something made me feel. He payed attention/explained when other's would have given up,not believed me,or over medicated me he kept trying until I found something that really helped.He's the kindest doctor I've ever met.I wish they all were like him
