Oh the brain
Dr Sarkiss was always prompt, he could explain my diagnosis simply. I was confident moving forward with his recommendations. He and his staff were able to take the fear out of my need for surgery. I was so impressed with the services at the hospital. I was in rehab for roughly 5 days and received speech therapy, occupational therapy, and physical therapy. In rehab there were only positive words spoken. It really kept me moving forward. Thank you to Dr Sarkiss and the team he has built for outstanding service. I will be forever grateful.. MaryAnn

Brain surgery was easy
Dr. Sarkiss was on point and positive the whole time. The brain surgery was the easiest part of my treatment process- I could not believe I was home the next day and that it was so easy. I had no pain; just needed an over-the-counter pain reliever every once and a while.

Complex patient
Dr. Sarkiss was incredibly thorough reviewing my complex pituitary issues. He was prepared for the visit and knew my history. He was so willing to help coordinate the rest of my medical care because the pituitary issues tie into my overall health. He helped to establish me with a team of doctors from different specialties to help with my complex history. His nurse Amy was very helpful over the last few months in getting everything needed for this consult visit. And the medical student with him was understanding of my rare diagnosis.

Best Surprise Surgeon Ever!
I took my first ride in an ambulance ever in my 51 years, and learned I had a LARGE mass in my brain (a meningioma), that I had NO IDEA existed. It was so large that I later learned these sized masses were typically referred to Madison, but Dr. Sarkiss agreed to tackle mine, which was a godsend! 4 days later, he removed my tumor completely, and NO radiation was needed! Dr. Sarkiss and everyone on his team were so great to work with, and they made a stressful situation feel like nothing to worry about! I knew I was in the best hands possible! Follow up after the surgery in the ICU was great, and done daily, always personally by Dr. Sarkiss. I am almost sad that I will not get to see him as often now that I am out of the hospital, since his bedside manner and sense of humor are wonderful! He truly has done me an amazing service, and I cannot say enough about his surgical skills and his extraordinary level of care!

Awesome Surgeon and Nurses
He did an excellent job. I had a great experience. I have no scar at all and this was done in a area where it otherwise could be seen. He cared that I followed up after and helped keep me on track; it was really nice.
