I’ve been a patient of Dr. Koeppl’s for 4 decades. He’s empathetic, very personable, knowledgeable, and thorough. He’s a great communicator who inspires confidence. He asks for and listens to my opinions, and he encourages me to ask questions. He takes time to explain everything and make sure all my questions are answered. He is respectful, and thorough. I hope he never retires!

I had Dr. Koeppl as my provider and loved him so much that my husband now also goes to him regularly. He takes the time to thoroughly understand your questions and ailments. We value his time and advice.

Saw Dr. K in conjunction with a much older widowed sibling who has dementia. Dr. K recomm. the memory clinic of which he is one of the docs. He already ruled out conditions that can mimic memory problems. Was not impressed with memory clinic testing or panel. They said he had "mild cognitive impairment." Took him to UW-Madison 2 months later. They said it was full-blown vascular dementia and put him on med. They said a memory clinic needs a lot of experience & skills to diagnose accurately.

He is my husband's doctor and he is empathetic , human, and intelligent. He is willing to listen with an open mind, treating his patients as self guided purveyors of their health care. He is quite popular and welll known, so it can be tricky to get an appointment (plus I believe he is the Medical Director). He has been instrumental in my husband's return to optimal health!
