Doctor Swank was my father's primary physician for many years. My dad really liked Dr. Swank and felt that they were always "on the same page" when it came to his health. In other words, Dr. Swank listened to him and paid attention to his needs and his wishes. In the last few years I lived with him and took him to his appointments. He always looked forward to going. It was more of a social visit for him. He liked visiting with Dr. Swank and his usual nurse. (She is from the Philippines where my dad was stationed in WWII.) I always felt welcome at these visits and knew my dad was in good hands. We never felt rushed. Pa passed peacefully at home in April 2020, exactly as he hoped would be his fate. I got a call from Dr. Swank within a few days. He is a very kind, caring man and we had a nice talk. I would highly recommend him to anyone, but he was especially wonderful with my cranky, elderly father. My dad didn't like many people, especially doctors. Dr. Swank was an exception.
