Outstanding Urologist!!
I have been in laboratory healthcare for 45 years with over half in pathology related specialties. Dr. Keel has treated me with outstanding, up to date accepted practices. He and his Physician Assistant are always attentive and willing to discuss all aspects of my condition and treatment options. I recommend him to any man having prostate or urinary tract issues. The last thing I wish to say is that there are always risks involved in prostate treatment options. Dr. Keel has always been outstanding at explaining those risks. However it must always rest on the patient to understand and weigh those risks before agreeing to any medical procedure. Thank you Dr. Keel for your dedication to our care.

Simple prostatectomy
I was to receive a "simple" prostatectomy because there was no cancer involved. If cancer was the main reason for a prostatectomy, it would have been a radical prostatectomy which takes the whole thing. A simple prostatectomy leaves the nerves intact so minimally, sexual function is affected. Dr. Keel was supposed to perform a simple prostatectomy on me. But, he took way more than he should had. This left me with loss of sexual function. I can no longer experience an orgasm. And, i no longer get a firm erection. He then suggested that I get an implant. After surgery I also had 2 incisional hernias. These were the result of the laprascopic surgery performed. Dr. Keel had no explanation for these hernias. His reaction....wow, I wonder how THAT happened.

My husband 8 of 9 prostate cancer symptoms. he ignored that and just wanted to schedule an unnecessary procedure 2 months later. He admitted in public a biopsy should have been done.

As a retired RN, I'm very picky about providers. My husband saw Dr. Keel for a potential abnormality seen incidentally on a diagnostic test. We were able to make an appointment easily, and were very pleased with the visit from beginning to end. Patients at this office (with whom we spoke during the short wait) were very complimentary of the practice and Dr. as well. Highly recommend.

Dr Keel is a fantastic doctor.. I visited Doctor Keel shortly after my younger sister was diagnosed with muscle invasive bladder cancer. He is very compassionate, knowledgeable and was very thorough in my exam and follow up procedure. I visit him yearly. I would highly recommend Dr Keel to friends and family.
