Dr. Huyck's office used to great. Now it's awful. I've been a patient for many years. Lately I've had more than my share of bad experiences. The every changing staff for starters. Recently, the office called several time to verify my appointment. Then called to say OH we can't do your infusion that day. Next, I experienced my first out break of Psoriasis. Dr. Bryan looked me over and give a prescription to take for a week and call back to let him know how it's was work. I called back in a week. Someone on staff called my back later that day and though the prescription was for the Arthritis not the Psoriasis. Did they talk to the Dr. or read any of the notes that the Dr. entered? When I said you'd better get you story straight it didn't go over to well. I'm currently researching for a new Rheumatologist.

I have never reviewed a Dr in my life..I have serious medical conditions and have seen dozens of Drs in my life ..every single one have said that I was a pleasant and respectful patient until I went to Arthritis Care PC.. Dr. Hyuck diagnosed me with Lupus and created a treatment regimen for me..after that first visit I was pawned off to his PA Barbara Nguyen who proceeded to tell me she did not agree with the DOCTOR'S diagnoses and refused to follow Dr Hyucks instructions..she was incredibly rude and condensending and at times basically called me a liar even though my records clearly stated Dr Hyucks treatment plan. She even called another Dr (Bryan)into the room who also proceeded to tell me that Dr Hyuck was wrong and refused to follow his instructions for treatment..I have been diagnosed with Lupus by other Drs in the past. Barbara Nguyen very rudely told me I would have to wait to see him in Oct for his treatment which will be 6 months PAST the day i was supposed to start his meds

absolutely horrible office! i had to reschedule several times due to unseen health circumstances and i did it 2 days in advance (thats what their policy says) and the receptionist threatened me saying that i have to be careful with doing that because they may deny appt next time. What? Their waiting room is small, TV is loud and produces some aweful depressing ads about disases, its always full with people, you have to stand while waiting. Their billing lady is very rude and can raise her voice

This office is horrible! My husband has been a patient for the last 2 years. They have tried numerous meds. Some helped more than others but he never really had any relief. They always booked him with the nurse practitioner Dorothy, very rarely did he actually see Dr. Huyck. The notes that were done by Dorothy states he is fine and feeling well which is truly a lie. Because they want to believe they are successfully treating patients they make it look positive on paper. Full review on webpage

Usually at least 45-60 min wait in uncomfortable chair in wait rm and exam rm before Dr or NP comes in. Have only seen Dr H once every 2 yrs for past several yrs and then he rushes thru appt in 10 min. Suddenly decided to cut off all chronic pain pts from opoid pain meds no matter what the circumstances. Totally indifferent to pts pain and suffering. "Go ask one of your other Drs." Of course then you become tagged as a drug seeker. Chronic pain Pts being punished because of others who misuse Rx

Dr Huyck is a really good doctor. He’s helped me a lot and seems like he really knows what he’s doing . MOST of the staff is friendly. The only reason I didn’t give him five stars is because they seem to overbook. Plan on sitting in the waiting room at least a half hour sometimes longer then in an exam room another half hour until you see him. Although he’s not rushed when it’s your turn to be seen which is good but maybe the office shouldn’t book so many people at one time.

Dr. Huyck is thorough and takes the time to actually talk to patients. The office as a whole are very caring, friendly and helpful. Yes, you might be a while but that should be expected at any specialist. As a nurse, I would recommend the office to patients and the general public as well. Thank you Dr. Huyck for paying special attention to your exam and your patient as a person.
