Went to her for help with depression, asked for a psychologist and was refered to a MENTAL HOSPITAL ! I am so discouraged after finding out if i went to the facility where MY DOCTOR (whom i should have trust) told me to go to, could have kept me for 24hrs ! It is hard enough for someone to seek help for something like depression and to admit there is something not right. But to think i could have been admitted to a mental facility against my will is beyond words. I have children and a life and this "LITTLE MISTAKE" could have ruined someones life. Needless to say i have changed Drs.

Dr. Smarik has been my PCP for more than four years. I could not ask for a more capable and responsive physician. I recommend her highly. She is rigorous is holding to appointment schedules; quickly responds to messages sent in the patient portal, has an exceptional support staff of medical assistants and medical professionals. [Now if only she didn't work for MIHS.]

She made me feel uncomfortable and made me feel uneasy. Also she didn't believe my symptoms turns out I need an MRI and a biopsy. First and last time I ever go back to her. I will make sure none of my family or friends go to her.
