Inadequate Care
Don’t waste your time with this person. I learned more from reading the radiologist’s report than from this “Doctor” She has yet to tell us what type of cancer or what stage of cancer. The biopsy was 9 days ago.

Dr. Saurel was my mother’s oncologist for 18 months. That’s 18 months with Pancreatic Cancer, which is a looooong time! I believe a lot of my mom’s success was due to the care we received from her and her team. Dr. Saurel not only held my mom’s hand the entire time, but she held mine too. I was at almost every appointment, and she was willing to answer my questions and quiet my fear and anxiety. She was professional yet caring and understanding of what I, the daughter, was dealing with in knowing we were going to lose my mom, my best friend. She was wonderful with my mom too, who had to face the fact she was dying. We were blessed to have her during the most difficult time of our lives! I would highly recommend Dr. Saurel to anyone facing the cancer battle. Her nurses were incredible too. I’m so thankful to have had them as our caretakers.

Dr. Saurel saved my life. I had a very aggressive and somewhat rare form of leukemia and upon diagnosis she immediately began inpatient treatment. The path was long and rough, but despite every possible complication to the disease (not her fault) she masterfully chartered the waters of what would have at three times very easily been the death of me. She is an expert, very thorough, and always professional. I wouldn't go anywhere else for hematology even if i had to drive 500 miles!

If I could give Dr. Saurel 100 stars I would. She saved my life! I was diagnosed with Large B cell non-Hodgkins Lymphoma in July / 2015. Thanks to Dr. Saurel and her amazing team I was in remission in Nov. of that same year. I still had to undergo my treatment until Jan 2019. Her and her staff were aggressive, but caring with my treatment. I always knew what they were giving me and treating me with. Every appointment we went over my medication list and made sure it was correct. Forever grateful

Awful. She is disrespectful of people and their time. Dr. Saurel routinely makes my husband wait over 2 hours each time he has an appointment to see her. He's discussed changing his medication with her every appointment for the last year, and she has agreed, but continues to fail to write the new script every time. It took her 3 months to notice his alarming weight loss and then wanted to wait another month before looking into it. This is negligence.

I was referred to Dr. Saurel from Dr. Michael Menefee at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida, where she had done her Fellowship with Dr. Menefee. Dr. Saurel has been treating me with chemo medications for my particular cancer for two years. She is exceptional in every way; her bedside manner is straight forward but comforting at the same time. Her knowledge is up to date and I trust her with my life.
