Best Ever!
My son and I have seen Dr Millward numerous times. My son had Tularemia and Dr Millward made sure to ultrasound his Achilles sheaths to monitor any threat of future tendon ruptures. My son also got a major concussion from basketball and had a broken pelvis to which Dr Millward took the time to show him exactly what was happening and why taking time off of sports was so critical at this time. He’s great with teenagers and so amazing at diagnosing and explaining so my son could understand. I had a major foot issue that I had seen all sorts of Drs for with no success. First time in w Dr Millward and he diagnosed it correctly and told me exactly what to do for it. He was also great at helping me with my whiplash after I was rear ended. I’m not sure there’s anything he can’t do. Thank you Dr Millward!

Left Feeling Deflated and Unheard
Recent visit to Dr. Millward, who my family has seen for injuries over the last 15 years, left me worse off than when I went in. He was dismissive to my complaints. His staff had said he would evaluate me for multiple problems, only to be told he'd only address one issue I was having. None of my questions were answered, and I left feeling very uncared for, unimportant, and rather hopeless. The exam itself and the tests performed caused me to be in more pain the next day that my ability to function was significantly reduced. My constant pain was not something he was concerned with. Absolutely no beneficial insight or advise provided other than suffer through it and it 'should' get better. I might as well have just asked a random stranger to evaluate me. I would have received similar care and attention. We also waited nearly an hour to be seen.

So arrogant and doesn't listen
The staff was nice and not a long wait. Dr. Millward was arrogant and completely missed the diagnosis. I went elsewhere and was treated much better. I would recommend staying away from him if you are an athlete who wants a fast return to your sport. If I would have followed his advice I would still be having issues.

Very impressed with Dr. Millward’s bedside manner.
When I first went to Dr Millward, I was at a place of feeling very frustrated and even scared and confused about a new diagnosis. At one appointment, I was very upset and even in tears. After seeing him several times, I am sure he was aware of my anxiety etc. and rather than being frustrated with me, he really showed compassion and listened to me, explained things to me and answered questions so that I could understand the issues I am dealing with. He also communicated with physical therapy and we discussed the best plan moving forward with them as well. I left feeling more hopeful than I have felt in months. Even when there isn’t a fix for a medical issue, it makes such a difference to leave a doctor appointment feel like you were heard and that the Dr actually cared and gave you some hope to at least try to improve your quality of life. So thank you Dr. Millward!

Went Dr. Millward after a non displaced fx of my right foot.... I felt that my fx. was not a significant injury for me to be seeing him. Dr. Millward was in the room for about maybe 5 minutes. I saw Dr. Millward for a non-displaced tibia and minorly displaced fibula fracture. Dr. Millward treated me with exeptional care and patience. I was a pretty a-typical patient as Dr. Millward was following up on an injury I had had a few weeks prior in the Park City area was serving as a middle doctor - taking over for another doctor -- before I traveled to my hometown for Thanksgiving/Christmas. Dr. Millward spent extra time explaining the injury and x-ray results several times. He made sure all of my questions were answered by asking open-ended questions that demonstrated interest in actually providing answers to any question I might have. (e.g. 'What questions do you have?' vs. the pretty standard 'Do you have any questions?'). I also appreciated him introducing the student that was shadowing him. (In prior appointments with medical students present I have felt that the doctor just barely, if at all, introduced their shadower.)

I dislike going to doctors mainly due to a long waiting time in their offices. In Dr. Millward's office you will not wait longer than 10 minutes. He understands that your time is as precious as his, so he will see you right away. He explains your medical condition in a language that is easily understood, he is always nice and caring.
