Horrible follow up and treatment.
Ignored specific infection lab report and prescribed wrong antibiotics. Scratched his head when infection wouldn't go away. Peed blood and clots for nearly a year. After 6 months went to Shands for excellent treatment. Really don't think he's a good doctor and definitely would never recommend him. I think he's in hiding.

Good Dr. , Poor Support Staff
Dr. Yowell is a very thorough and kind physician, unfortunately his support staff is very inefficient and unprofessional. The staff does not follow up after visits to schedule necessary procedures that are ordered by the doctor. Numerous phone calls to support staff are not returned including messages left for the nurse. Very disappointing!

Was able to get me in immediately after identify kidney stone. Removed it and was very thorough throughout the treatment. I would recommend Dr. Yowell. Very knowledgeable and good manners and conscientious.

He seemed confident however just about everything he said about my vasectomy turned out to be false. He said it would be under a light sedation, however it was full on putting me under. After specifically stating I wouldn't be put under anesthesia.

I was a patient of Dr Yowells for treatment of kidney stones. Prior to seeing Dr yowell the only treatment offered was the lipo pad. After three years my parents suggested I go for a second opinion with Dr yowell. Upon his examination he suggested that I have the stones lasered and broken up he was of the opinion that the stones were much to large to pass on their own. He was totally correct after three years of pain I am now pain free. He also determined the type of stone and causes.
