Excellent Surgeon and Caring Doctor
After multiple injuries from an MVA, I ended up seeing Dr. Leinberry for extensive pain and problems in my hands and arms. He expertly explained what the issues were and the fixes for these problems. After several surgeries on both arms and hands, my numbness and pain issues have been greatly reduced and I have better use of all. Surgery went well, along with my recovery period. I am thankful for Dr. Leinberry in taking the time to talk with me as a patient, directing my care, and healing me for a better life to use my hands and arms.

He was an attentive, no non-sense doc, which I like. He explained my options and arranged for the surgery. I was very pleased with him and his staff and I am glad I went to see him.

Had a carpel tunnel problem, and had a consult with Dr. Leinberry. I showed him my EMG, and he did some tests with my fingers and hand. He confirmed what the EMG doctor had said about needing surgery and explained why. I felt very confident in his ability and was put at ease through our consult. Had the surgery with a local, and stitches come out next week. The staff were all very nice, and I would recommend Dr. Leinberry.

Went in to see Dr. Leinberry for a second opinion for a cyst in wrist bone. First wrist doc said to wear a splint immediately (which I was fitted for that day) and have surgery ASAP, to fill the hole in the bone, because of the likelihood of the bone collapsing if I fell. When I went to see him, I brought with with X-ray, MRI and CT scan disks and reports. He never looked at me, took one look at CT pictures said, "stop wearing the splint, you don't need surgery, do 6 weeks of PT and you can get a bone scan if you'd like". Got up and walked out leaving me sitting there with a paper of my questions. I had to chase after him just to get some answers. Total visit time - 2 minutes. Talked to two subsequent orthopedists and two very experienced physical therapists and the consensus was that I needed surgery ASAP and to wear the splint 24/7 - which I did. Now it's healed nicely and no longer a concern. Not very thrilled with this doctor or Rothman in general.

I didn’t feel rushed into making a surgical decision. Having had osteoarthritis in my fingers for over 20 years the dip joints on several fingers were deteriorating. Function of my fingers and hands was becoming difficult. Being 65 I knew I was likely to recover and get my strength back if I were to choose surgery. My outcome so far is amazing. One finger fused and two to go. Dr. Leinberry is a skilled and caring surgeon and I would recommend him and his staff. He definitely didn’t sugar coat recovery and made sure I realized there were risks. At five weeks after surgery with two pins still in place I know I made the right decision. Thank you Dr.Leinberry for years to come I will appreciate the pain free use of my hands.

I seen Dr. Leinberry so far for the duration of my partial TFCC tear, first few appointments I got this very bad vibe. I was reluctant when he suggested a cortisone shot to see if it works because I believe it just hides the pain temporarily. At first I got immediate results from the cortisone shot, I was a relieved. As time went on my pain started to come back, wrist started to ache more and fear set in that it was going to go back to what it was. He mentioned at the appointment of the cortisone shot that If I was still in pain he would talk about a surgical option. 5/20/2019, Yesterday, I seen Dr.Leinberry. I was honest with him, I told him I was feeling a bit better. However, I stated that the pain was beginning to come back. Mid sentence of me saying I the pain was coming back, he cut me off trying not to let me finish my sentence. Basically told me, I'm going to have to live with this, he doesn't want to do surgery and that I need a second opinion. He is unprofessional/lazy.
