Dr. Charla Allen, MD

Doctor allen dropped me as a patient with no notice to me and I didn't find out until trying to refill my prescriptions multiple times. Finally after calling I found out that they had dropped me without notice. I have recommended her several times in the past but I will no longer recommend her as a doctor. This came to after my doctor passed away and was trying to find a current doctor to do some temporary prescriptions until I could find a new psychiatrist. She refused and with me already off my medications I was already emotional and got irate. She dropped me because she wouldn't bridge the gap between me losing my doctor and finding a new one and I got upset. If you have mental health problems i would not recommend someone who is so unwilling to work with people who struggle in everyday life.

She is always so nice, very welcoming, and personable. She listen to all my concerns and always try’s to find a solution! Definitely recommend her!

Dr.Allen is personable, knowledgeable and thinks outside the box to help with issues. Did not rush the appointment, answered every question even answered questions I didn't know to ask. Very pleased.

She always takes the time to listen to you and never makes you feel you are taking too much of her time. She is always very knowledgeable and if she doesn't know she will find out for you.She is a very special person and doctor. We need more like her.

Dr Allen has been my Dr for many years. She's an excellent Dr. She always listens to your concerns and guides you in the right direction of care. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a great Dr in the Lubbock area.

Dr. Allen is just plain awesome. She is very relaxed and you feel like you are visiting with a friend instead of getting an exam. She listens to your concerns and is very conscious of what medications cost and does her very best to prescribe you meds that don't cost an arm and a leg. I am so glad I found her!!
