As always, very intuitive and accurate with his assessments.

Everyone very efficient and professional. They did not waste time and got to work to help me learn what caused my pain. Settled on a diagnosis, reduced pain and set up plan to continue to remedy my issue, which I had never heard of before. I would recommend the doctor and practice to those with any lower extremity issues.

Usually, I go in for a Cortizone shot usually because I can’t really have surgery on certain things.Jessica always helps me with a shot and she is as pleasant and wonderful and helpful and kind. And I believe he’s like that I’ve seen him a couple times but I believe they’re very competent good people there. I feel they really care.

Dr. Zehms and his staff were very professional and provided excellent customer service. I saw Dr.Zehms seeking a second opinion. He was very empathetic and addressed all my concerns regarding bilateral total hip replacement. I was very impressed how this specialty practice had me scheduled for an initial consult within 48 hours of my calling for an appt.

I've been in pain for 5 years now on and off more on then off and I've seen many different doctors through my life for my back issues and no one has been able to help but I have a good feeling about him he's very nice and considerate and just very professional so I'm hoping that maybe this time I'll actually get help for this pain and get some kind of relief whether it's therapy surgery exercises you name it I don't care

Very smart, excellent doctor. He did my first rotator cuff repair on my Rt shoulder. Now, I’m doing my left. A bit unlucky in that respect, but very lucky to have Dr . Zehms.

Thanks to an unfortunate year, I had both hip labrum repair back in 2020 as well as bilateral meniscus repairs on both knees.The original orthopedic Doctor treating me for this labrum tear told me I was too old for the surgery; I was 56!Dr. Zehms's said that was nonsense. 'I've done this operation on people over 70-you'll do fantastic.'Four years post surgery and still not having any issues with the knees or the hip. I have recommended Chad and his team at Optim Orthopedics to many of my friends and neighbors! You will be hard pressed to find a better orthopedic surgeon.

The Doc is attentive and curious about your condition or injury. Nice to have a doctor here that makes you wait 45-60 minutes and doesn't give you more than 2 minutes. Office visits just cover overhead,but please... Doc Zehms is excellent. Get to a diagnosis then treatments. The best orthopeadic guy I could find.

Dr Zehms hears your concerns and wastes no time in accurately assessing your condition. Having had 1 knee surgery with a great outcome, I was confident in knowing where to go for the second, with another great outcome. Dr Zehms is highly skilled, caring and offers realistic expectations. It’s reassuring to know that when faced with health challenges that excellence can be found. I had 3 breaks in my ankle and was taken to Hilton Head Hospital . I was lucky Dr. Z was the orthopedic Dr. on call that day. It took a few days for the surgery but it was good to meet him and he made us feel like I was in good hands with a positive outcome. He was confident he could do the corrective surgery. He seems to tell it like it is and answers all of your questions and fears.
