This doctor was awful, I felt degraded. He attacked me for a medication I was taking, it was an onslaught that put me on the defensive immediately. I was accusing of not listening to him and of being under the influence of this medication. It was degrading.

Rude. Arrogant. No comment on my most serious complaints. I have never had a Doctor who was less respectful. When he walked in the exam room I introduced myself; Good, he replied, you know your name. He was not making a joke and did not introduce himself. Wow! Totally unhelpful.

great MD
His staff and office are friendly; prompt; address questions. Dr. Prior is concerned, listens, has solutions based on my personal health issues. He is informative and solution driven. I've recommended him 4 times and my referrals are very pleased. My husband and I are thankful to find an MD who practices wellness.

A very good doctor
I have found Dr Prior to be a very good primary care physician. He has always treated me with respect and kindness. Although I have few medical problems he has taken care of repetitive ingrown toenail issues and severe tendinitis in my wrist. Having worked in the medical field for over 40 years I have seen my share of good and bad doctors and he is definitely one of the good ones. His office staff has always treated me well and responds to voicemails I have left in a timely matter. I highly recommend him and his staff!

Dr. Prior used to be my primary provider.
I told myself that I deserved better, and so I found a replacement primary care provider. It was very difficult to speak to any of Dr. Prior's office staff, since they didn't answer the phone or return messages left on their service. We always had to drive to the office in order to make an appointment. Their waiting room is too crowded for safety during the covid pandemic. No one ever asked me if had been vaccinated. At a typical visit, I waited 1-2 hours after the appointment time. Worst of all, Dr. Prior was always short-tempered to the point of being rude.

This score relates to the support staff who work with Dr. Prior. I had an initial visit several months ago. The initial was uneventful and follow-up appointment was schedule for the following year. The second contact was fine. Medications were discussed from which I had provided a list of medications from my previous physician. When I needed a refill, my previous physician filled it given it would take time to establish a new provider. Anyways the crocks of my disappointment was getting my medications properly called (electronic transmission and a verbal call) in and filled. Well, one of four medications were filled correctly. The other three were improperly filled or not filled at all. Nevertheless, it’s been three weeks and no answer from the clinic, his support staff or him. This despite utilizing MyChart, a telephone call and a physical visit to clinic to communicate with the front desk support. My assessment at this point is incompetence and a total disregard for the patient.

You can never get through to talk with someone on the phone. The Staff needs more training or refresher courses on their job. This practice has to many patients because getting an appointment is the pits!

I have no issues with Dr. Prior the office staff however, are incompetent. Having worked in the medical field over 30 years myself, apparently there is no recourse to the incompetent staff.

Dr. Prior is the best primary care physician I have ever had and I am not a real "young man". He listens - which is so very important in ANY meaningful conversation. And he cares. And he focuses on me and my concerns. I had an online visit with him yesterday and it went so well.

Dr Prior is the best doctor I've been to. He's always up-beat and happy. It's fun to be in a consultation with him. I always feel that he listens to me, and if he can't figure something out immediately, he keeps looking until he finds an answer. Most other doctors just tell me there's nothing wrong if their first guess isn't correct. He's kind and compassionate and he really cares. He works with us in every way he can.

I dropped off my new patient packet at their office in March. At the time I was told that they would call me to schedule a new patient appointment but that appointment wouldn't be till May. It's now May and I just called them to request an appointment and now I can't get an appointment until July. So probably don't try to be a new patient, they obviously don't have the time to provide adequate care to anyone.

Over all my experience with Dr. Prior has met my high standard of care. My only comment concerns the staff employed to assist Dr. Prior. I have no problem with employees that were raised where English was not their first language as long as they have taken the necessary steps to learn the correct and proper use of the English language. On my last visit, this was a problem as it was apparently difficult for the PA to understand me and I understand him.
