After reading the other reviews, I need to say that they are not wrong but they don’t get it. Dr Freilich will do what’s best for the patient and is not afraid to be direct about it. If that conflicts with the parents beliefs, so be it... that’s what’s best for the patient. If you are looking for someone to sugarcoat things, she mIght not be the doctor for you. If you want excellent, honest & direct care, then she is the one you want.

I remember going to her as a child and I am almost in my 40s. Went to see her back when she worked for Dr. Vacek's practice. I found her bedside manner to be less than satisfactory and she definitely had an air about her that she was a "doctor" so how dare you question her. It says she also speaks Polish, but her Polish is rather bad. Nowadays if you can't speak English fluently and need to see a Polish doctor, there are many more/better choices than back in the 80s/90s.

We have seen Dr. Freilich three times now and each time she is very argumentative and defensive when as parents, we question diagnosis and treatment. At our most recent visit she even made a face as if to say "are you dumb?" when I asked for information about a medication. As a parent it is my duty to advocate for and understand what is being recommended for my child and I don't expect to be made to feel like an imposition or like I am dumb for asking a question. We won't be seeing her again!
