Punctual Professional
What I appreciate about this practice is that patients are seen at the appointment time. No need to bring a novel or spend 30 minutes checking email or texting friends! No driving around in a big parking garage! Parking is free and close to the office! Dr. Rode has a sense of humor, yet gets straight to the point. I highly recommend this practice and Dr. Rode. I have been coming to this office for about 10 years.

Excellent care
Dr. Rode took me through two successful Achilles repair surgeries after first exhausting non-invasive approaches to tendonitis that impaired my ability to pursue the activities I enjoy. He always listened, answered my questions, and took me through an extended treatment journey in a way that inspired confidence.

Foot surgery
I was kept informed throughout the entire process. Dr. Kurt is very professional. The incision was minimal. Pain was minimal. He is a handsome, but professional, friendly doctor. I am thankful l was referred to him. The staff at West Hartford Podiatry are very friendly and professional. In addition, Dr. Harvey Lederman expeditiously filled out my papers for work so that l would not be without pay while l heal. That’s peace of mind!!! I am overwhelmed at the wonderful service l received at Bloomfield Surgical Center as well. They are very interactive with their patients. Their front desk staff took COVID 19 seriously and made sure l was tested or had a vaccine card. In addition, they are are extremely friendly and professional!

The doctor was punctual
Which I like. However, the appointment felt a little rushed, in that we did not discuss alternate means to treat my callous, ( such as padding that one can get at a drugstore. So, I was left with some follow up questions…

I went to see Dr Rode with chronic pain in my left foot and ankle. After a careful diagnosis that included reviewing my medical history, ordering x-rays and an MRI; I underwent a reconstructive left ankle surgery. Two and a half months later I am back to regular activities that include walking 18 holes of golf 3-4 days a week. I found Dr Rode to be thorough, caring and an excellent practitioner. I’d recommend him highly.

Dr Rode is professional and pleasant. I went in to see him after almost 7mths of pain in my right foot. He took time to hear my concerns, examine my foot and explained my treatment options. I tried several treatment options and then decided I would have surgery as the last resort. From the first day I entered the office even now after the surgery. I can honestly say him and the entire staff at WHP are awesome. If you have anxiety issues like me, they will make you feel very comfortable.

He has poor bedside manner and completely does not listen to concerns. He rushes through appointment as well. I do not recommend him.
