Not what it used to be
I believe the Pine Street office has gone downhill. I was disrespected on more than one occasion, mixed up with another patient, not taking seriously. I ended up leaving and it was the best thing ever. I started going to this office when I was 12 years old And I just left last year after I had my daughter and I am 29 years old. That’s how long I have been with this office. It wasn’t what it used to be. When I had My daughter. Doctor Berry was extremely rude and made me feel very uncomfortable and uneasy easy .

This is a horrible place ! If you go there do not expect to get efficient care. The people who answers the phones and schedule the appointments are inefficient. I have been suffering with a medical condition that makes it hard to work. And have been seeking help. I have had several appointments canceled with this provider. To be rescheduled with another provider who "couldn't do the consultation." Which is really frustrating since I recently rescheduled an appointment several times. I showed up to the Pine St location in Syracuse where I wasn't even greeted. The woman at the desk was very rude and short to me. She said, " Name and date of birth, because I don't have a 10:45 apt scheduled." She then tells me it was scheduled in Liverpool with Dr. Berry. I was told several times and called by people who work the phones that it is important that I keep this appointment which I attended to. Mind you they noted it being important because, " Dr. Berry often has to cancel due to being in the OR." I told the young lady at the desk how upsetting this is as I have been trying to seek treatment for this issue for months. I asked to speak to a supervisor who couldn't and chose not to return my messages and attempt to rectify the situation. I was not given an apology or acknowledgement that the issue occurred. I will not be returning as a patients. I feel that I was treated horribly inconsiderate to have all these cancelations, and scheduling issues when I had to find child care to make the appointments. You facility is very unprofessional with unfit staff who don't know or are to ignorant and not trained properly to deescalate the situation .I would have greatly appreciated a call from the supervisor per my request. I know now why the ratings are so low. I will be going to a different provider who got me an appointment a lot quicker than this office. Train your staff. Do better than this patients' move their whole life around making appointments especially when it involves childcare. You office staff is totally unprofessional and could use training in people skills and human services.

I used to come here for my GYN exams. However, I've decided to start seeing someone else for that from now on. I always had difficulty scheduling exams and more than once, I waited past my scheduled appointment times. Not cool. Another thing that made me decide to seek GYN care somewhere else: a lack of communication about a problem I had.

All I can say is run fast. My daughter’s concerns were never addressed or taken seriously. She was treated for conditions she didn’t have. After delivery she became septic and almost died.

Visit
I was diagnosed with what I thought was a serious issue back in early June. I was not informed about what the plan was. Appointments were canceled. Many phone calls and messages using my patient portal went unanswered. I was on my way to the office when I got a call saying Dr Berry was at the hospital. The lack of communication and various excuses were rude and uncool. There was no common courtesy. I'm going to start seeing someone else from now on for my preventative GYN care.

Unprofessional and lacking compassion
I have had nothing but negative experiences every single appointment. I go in filled with dread and then cry the entire ride home. You're rushed in and out, made to feel like you're nuts for trying to advocate for yourself, and there is little to no informed care. I was billed for a full exam and testing and was waiting and waiting for results, only to be told weeks later no test was ever performed. As if I wasn't present and didn't observe my cervix being swabbed. The nurse told me I would have had to ASK to have any testing completed even though that is part of any routine annual women's health exam. I have never felt so violated and upset.

I’ve been going to this office for a number of years. Though several of my favorite providers are no longer with the practice, I stay because of Dr. Berry’s competency and critical thinking during crisis. I’ve always received prompt call backs from nurses who are more than willing to provide answers to my questions or concerns. And the scheduling/ office staff at the Bville office is GREAT! However, they need to do something about the Nurse Practioner, Terry. She is condescending, arrogant, and lacks bedside manner. She loves to hear herself talk, and will talk over you every chance she can. She tries to diagnose mental health disorders, minimizes concerns, and lectures personal choices.

You are treated like cattle, herded in/out as fast as possible without time to even complete the paper work. NP did PE as fast as possible without getting a good history, which was evident by her questions. Very little patient interaction, just interested in getting her PE done.

Didn’t have a pleasant experience with the Baldwinsville practice. I dreaded making appointments because whichever doctor is working out of this location was always rude and short whenever you asked any sort of questions. I had been experiencing symptoms of Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome and I was treated as if I was crazy. I had to fight tooth and nail to get any test related to diagnosis and was accused of requesting unnecessary medical tests. Finally I was able to get a diagnosis from an endocrinologist and switched practices. Would not recommend this practice, at least the Baldwinsville location.

Whoever scheduling appointments isn’t the best, I believe the name Donna. Didn’t have the right number on file to call remind me of my appointment. She gave me attitude and very disrespectful and now she sent me to billing office to reschedule my appointment. But the doctors are wonderful!!
