Dr Catherine Taras is leaving this facility and because if this, I'm leaving also. I couldn't have received better care from a Primary Care physician anywhere. I'm very disappointed about Dr. Taras leaving. Good Luck finding any Doctor that could possibly fill Dr. Taras's position. Dr Taras is the Best doctor that I ever had. Hands down... The Best!!

Doesn’t care about her patients. Husbands cholesterol jumped a 1000 points and she didn’t think a thing about it. Took her 8 days to fill a script, still she sees no red flag. I ask for blood work to be redone. Came back normal 158 Asked for her to call me directly. She has her girls calling me. When I insist, she said she’d call in a week. Still waiting on that call. Your paying for a service you don’t get from her.

I found Dr. Taras via the physicians.summahealth.org website, as it had many positive reviews for her, and decided to meet her and see if I liked her. I was very pleased with both her medical care and her caring attitude. She took time to listen well and with concern to my explanation of the cause of my medical problems (a pressure sore and bad cough), and asked questions to more fully understand the situation. The treatment she prescribed healed the pressure sore, and she had me tested to check for TB (thankfully negative) and other lung problems. Her fee was moderate and reasonable. She also took time to answer a number of questions I sent to her via the Summa messaging service. Dr. Taras is a caring, skilled physician, and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a primary care physician. Her nurses are also caring, skilled, and very helpful.
