My name is Chris Tompkins. Dr. Perez treated my wife with kindness and compassion when she was diagnosed with Metastatic Breast Cancer. She also answered my informed questions patiently, intelligently, and with respect. She is hands down one of the best doctors in New York City as she is highly skilled in her practice and highly regarded by other doctors and staff. This is a doctor you want on your side.

Don't be fooled by the kindness you first receive from this doctor. The first radiation treatment for pain was a 1 day treatment. Dr Perez was not present for the treatment and did not do a follow up. Months later Dr Perez suggested 5 days of radiation. Again, no follow up from Dr Perez. My mom passed away shortly after the radiation treatments. Never heard from Dr Perez. I want other families to know that you should put your trust in another doctor and team of doctors.

Even tho Dr Perez was "only" my radiation oncologist she played a major part in my year and a half long treatment for breast cancer.As much as I like my surgeon and medical oncologist I wish Dr Perez was my main"quarterback" .She listens..is so smart and kind..and funny!But most importantly watched over different issues I had that other doctors I see more often than her didn't pick up on.I can't say enough how attentive she is..Im sad I need to wait a whole year to see her again;)..
