Dr. Carlos Dator Jr, MD

Dr Dator and his staff have gone out of their way multiple times for my care. He’s very knowledgeable as well as his staff. He regularly does blood work, will go over it with you, and tell you habits you can change to help improve your health. It’s not a one way road. If the patient dosent want to take the advice or even try to complie with the advice, then what’s the point of seeing the doctor. He helped me lower my cholesterol by recommending eating steel cut oatmeal, which worked! Wait times are very minimal. I’ve never waited more than 20-25 mins to get into a room. I’d say if your in the oswego county area that Dator is one of the better doctors you can see. His office is conveniently located right in the city a few blocks from the hospital(so getting blood work done after is convenient). Overall it is a good family practice. Recommend.

Initial visit was great. Dr Dator was knowledgeable, personal, and professional. The office staff set me up with my next appointment quickly and gave me information on where to have my blood drawn. Overall a very good experience

I originally started with a doctor whom I saw once before being forced to see Dr Dator. Things were going well until I was refused treatment over things I knew to be false about the tests that were taken. On top of this I was refused treatment to figure out how to resolve the issues I was being told about. I was only referred to the lab that did the tests and doctor refused to help figure out what was going on. Last time I saw him I waited for 40 mins to be seen for 5 mins.

My wife insurance company assigned this Dr as my wife's Dr and she felt very good about him in till she never saw him again. He had a plan forward which she thought was very good. Then she never saw him again. She now sees his mother Carmine Daytor which she doesn't like. I went with her to an appointment the other day as she was leaving again on vacation for a month but she did get a nebulizer ordered for her before she left as my wife has been hospitalized 3 times but no one could figured out.
