I absolutely recommend Dr. Poage. My family and I have seen him for a menagerie of problems. He is always thorough, explanative, and friendly, and my blood work and prescriptions are always timely.

Great Dr
My longtime doctor retired and saw a couple of doctors at ARC and landed on Dr. Poage as he was the most informed courteous and addresses all my issues Been seeing him for two years and really my only complaint is she is always booked so he must be doing something right I recently saw an alternate doctor at the practice and made me realize how amazing Dr. Poage is In addition to he has referred me to some other amazing doctors so I really trust his judgment

This guy absolutely sucks. You can tell what a person is by how they talk to you and treat you, and this guy is obviously an immature child, because that's how he spoke to me, completely condescending, flippant, immature. If you hate people that much, why are you a "doctor"?

Up until this week, I would have recommended him for the person that mostly knows what they need. I've been waiting 4 days for refills on my medications. I finally called, was told they refused them because I hadn't seen him in over 6 months (but the emails asking for refills show "unread by staff"). I saw him a month ago, had full bloodwork done. I was supposed to be going out of town to visit family today, but I can't do that without my medications (and my insurance is through my employer, it only covers pharmacies they own.. which don't exist where I'm going).

Went in with bad pain in neck and rhomboid and complete loss of tricep strength. Textbook symptoms of a pinched nerve. Told him I suspected a pinched nerve. He told me it was probably a pulled muscle. Really?? He didn’t want to order an MRI (which would have been the definitive test). I said I really think its a pinched nerve and he insisted I’d have different symptoms. I then asked “what about the muscle weakness?” He replies “What muscle weakness?” He DOESN’T LISTEN. Sent me on my way with two Rxs. Fast forward 3 months—I wake up in tears with EXCRUCIATING pain in my neck, shoulder and arm. Luckily could get in to see Dr. Morrison who says obviously its a pinched nerve. Orders MRI, prednisone, referrals for PT, pain management dr, and neurosurgeon and pain meds. If Dr. Poage had listened and been just a bit more proactive in my treatment I might have avoided this latest horrible event. MISDIAGNOSED. DISMISSIVE. DOESN’T SEEM TO CARE. Wish I had see Dr. Morrison first. “0” stars?

Horrible bedside manner. Made me feel that my symptoms didn't exist and I'd learn to "cope" with them. Makes you feel judged and uncared for.

My husband and I have been going to DR Poage for about 3-4 years now. He has excellent bed side manner, and he seems to care about his patients more than other DRs we have been to. He is gentle, kind, and knowledgeable. We really appreciate him.

I like Dr. Poage but I can't recommend him as the office staff makes it very hard to talk to him. I have been waiting close to two weeks to get a prescription filled but there keeps being issues with them filling out the prior- Authoriz. paper work between them and the insurance company. When I call in the afternoon I wait over 10 mins and still can't get someone to pick up. To bad because I was hoping to find a good doctors office as I am new to the area.

I would highly recommend Dr. Poage. On my office visit, he was very thorough, and provided me with answers to my health questions. He ordered lab work done, which was done within a manner of minutes, and the results were posted on the ARC MyChart the very next morning with his comments.

Dr. Poage is a good listener. I am very pleased with his medical service. I don't need to wait too long to see him. Absolutely, I am happy with my primary Doctor. Medication he prescribed working very well, I hope a nurse helps me feel comforable with some kind and relaxing words for me coz I am easily nervous in the clinic environment. Also, I wish they have an automatic blood pressure monitor, too. That's all I want from his office, after all, besides all good factors in his office, Thanks!
