Meticulous Physician provides excellent care
I’ve been a patient of Dr. Misra for ten years, and feel very confident in her expertise and care. She does have a systematic approach and prefers to go through it first before having a free-form discussion. I imagine this supports her thoroughness. If you want a warm and effusive bedside manner you should probably look elsewhere. If you want a meticulous physician who will take your symptoms seriously and treat you with dignity, you should see Dr. Misra.

Good job Dr. Misra!
My appt I had on July 25, 2023, went well and she did do typing but that was expected as I am a new patient. She listened and typed everything I told her, and all my meds were listed correctly, and she even did all my 4 referrals so I can get the care I need. It was a very good appt. I look forward to seeing her in 3 months.

Professional, thorough, and very good at her job.
As someone with an extensive health history, for a young person, I was pleased with my visit. I really appreciated her manner of listening and taking notes about all the details I had written and things I was mentioning when she would ask for clarification. She is very professional and thorough.

Never looks at you. Typing the whole time. Told to not interrupt until she finished (which she didn't). 6 mo. exam was feeling my throat, heart beat. No patient interaction at all.

Little empathy. Less listening. My appointment started with reading and typing. I expected to eventually be asked to speak. But brief questions were followed by benchmark tests set-up. When I asked about lab results I was told we would get to that. More typing. I finally asked what was she typing?? We hadn't spoken enough for there to be that much to note. I think Dr Misra is thorough and maybe quite good--though I don't have enough info to know that. But she almost never looked at me, never gave me time to say why I was there and did just a cursory exam-I mean brief and not worth doing. I was left feeling I had not been seen and definitely not heard. I did not get accomplished why I went and don't feel like I would get better results from returning. I'm not going back. If you are not concerned with having a connection to your primary care doctor and only want objective clinical results, Dr Misra may be your gal. If you want someone that sees the whole person? Forget it.

I recommend Dr. Misra highly. In fact, I will be making an appointment for my husband to change primary care physicians and see Dr. Misra. She is extremely thorough and never rushes you through a visit even tho' I am a Medicare patient.

Only treats occasional cold or sinus inf. or patients who need refills. This is what Dr. Misra told me! I filled out the numerous pages of paper wk (where I listed my medical conditions), waited for appt; was a waste of time. As she walked in, she was reading the attached presciption and supplement list I provided. The appt was a joke! She tried to have our appt based on my medications. Never read my paper wk, didn't know what my medical condition was.I called her out on this. She replied w above.
