Good visit
My daughter needed to be seen and his staff was very friendly. He can in and asked good questions and helped us see what was going on. He even provided us the needed referral to a different doctor that we needed to see.

Only interested in providing clinical care, a mindset of an HMO, I thought the U of U doctors were different, but the latest new ones are all the same, just get the patient into a cookie cutter clinical treatment and anything outside of normal is just not worth their time or effort. He only told me what he wanted to provide , and anything outside that standard treatment was not in his scope of treatment.

My wife described him as "condescending" and "a jerk." Really didn't like him and did not like her visit with him. Also, his office (when she called to schedule the eye appointment) said our insurance was covered when it was, in fact, not (which we discovered when we received the bill). We will not be returning to Dr. Zaugg.
