Dr. Brian Victoroff, MD

Never got to see the doctor after appointment was canceled twice and rescheduled. When I finally went for my appointment on 9/9, they said I canceled it. The doctors scheduling secretary Nicki/Vicki called me back to say I canceled my appointment when they called to confirm at 5:35pm on 9/8. Funny thing about iPhones is you have a record of calls and missed calls. Nothing for UH and no voicemail about confirming my call. I didn’t speak with anyone, so I am not sure who they called. Tired of being jerked around by an office that obviously is over booked and not very patient centered. Made an appointment with another doctor they another provider. This UH office is awful. I am a returning patient of Dr Victoroff, but I will never make another appointment with him

Dr. V has performed surgery of my knee and shoulder. I had a massive rotator cuff tear and had only a 10% chance of regaining 100% use of the shoulder. Well, I was in the 10 % club. Dr. V never rushes to perform surgery and provides mullite options. I just injured my other shoulder and scheduled an appt with him, never considered going to another surgeon.

He is the reason I am walking pain free today. Lateral release debridement and hardware removal from my hamstring graft from Dr Wong Sandusky. Thank you both.

Dr. Victoroff waited until a few days before my appointment which was scheduled three months earlier to say he would not see me. He does not see anyone over the age of 55 -- even runners, skiers and hikers. He believes being active and over 55 are mutually exclusive. Nice.

He is a very close minded and ignorant doctor. His stupidity does not allow him to see outside the box. When it comes to complicated cases that are outside the norm, you’d be better off being examined by a chimp. He told me that I had a problem that couldn’t be fixed and that I could go to 100 other doctors and nobody would ever help me. Well, I went to 3 other doctors and 2 of those 3 offered me surgery. I ended up having the surgery with another surgeon and got much better. If I would have followed Dr. Victoroff’s moronic advice, I would still be on crutches to this day.

Dr. Victoroff was kind and patient. He listened to all of my concerns and addressed them right then and there. He explained everything thoroughly. He also informed me of how we would proceed if anything further were to arise. He was on time and he shook my hand when he introduced himself to me. That is a Dr. I can trust. He spoke to me not down to me. I am truly pleased with him and would recommend highly recommend him to others.

Terrible bedside manner. Left feeling hopeless and in pain after months. Pushed Cortisone and strong pain med management. Completely disappointed!!

While having little to do with his medical expertise, he is hands down the most timely physician I've ever experienced. I'm usually seen by him well before my scheduled visit time. My wife, a retired RN, accompanies me at these visits and we are both very positively impressed with his caring and concerned demeanor as well as his explanation of options. His approach, which we value highly, is very conservative leaving surgical intervention for the future if needed.

I will never use him again or refer anyone to him!!!!!!! Too busy for his own good. Do not listen to the patient concerns. Went to another doctor, finally getting the help I need.
