Dr. McGrath performed an Anterior Hip Replacement on me several months ago. The decision to replace the hip was done quickly and decisively based on my x-rays and symptoms. The preparation for surgery, surgery day, and recovery details were thorough and implemented perfectly. This included the appropriate post surgical medications, several at home nursing and physical therapy visits, and follow up by his office. After surgery I used a walker for the 1st five days, then a cane for 10 more days. Within a few weeks I was walking around the neighborhood. Dr. McGrath's assistants and staff were knowledgeable and professional. I could not be happier with the outcome as my quality of life has been restored. Thank You Dr. McGrath

Dr McGrath excelled at explaining the partial knee replacement in language I could understand yet with the necessary detail. He scheduled my surgery for a month later, before I left the office, so I didn’t have to wait 8 weeks for a phone call (as ai did at Excelsior). He’s extremely intelligent, well trained and well spoken. Head and shoulders above the two other surgeons I spoke with. And he recommended a more conservative surgery.

Initial visit for me to discuss hip replacement. Robin NP was fabulous! She went over my x ray and explained the surgery in great detail. Dr. McGrath came in and re-enforced Robin's presentation. Both Robin and Dr. McGrath answered all our questions.

I had a total hip replacement last week at the Southtowns Surgery Center. I was treated with kindness and caring by a group of very professional doctors, nurses and other medical staff. Although I was quite nervous, I also felt very safe. I saw Dr. McGrath briefly when we both had to sign off on my surgery and he was very kind. I was home the same day and a nurse was at my house within a half hour. I am recuperating well so far, no pain, and walking with a cane. I am hoping to recover well enough to resume my once active fitness routine and lifestyle. Thank you Dr. McGrath!

Dr. McGrath did a wondergul job on my left total hip replacement Nov. 19. It has been five weeks and the first time pain free in almost two years. Am walking with no crutches or cane and no longer need the pain medicine I needed before surgery. Surgery was at the Surgery Center in Orchard Park and I had surgery at 10:30 and was home by 4:00 an hour away. All the staff were kind and caring. Thank you!!

This is the second hip replacement Dr McGrath has done for me. He did my left hip about 5 years ago. I had this surgery at the Orchard Park surgery center they were great. My surgery was at 7:30 Dr McGrath came in talked to me signed my hip that was being done and then they took me to surgery. Last thing I remember was the oxygen mask. I woke up fully dressed which was pretty nice and had no pain I was home before 1:00 and we live about an hour away. It's 3 days since surgery and I am no longer in pain like I was before surgery. I think Dr McGrath is wonderful and his staff is great I would recommend him to everyone. Thank you Dr McGrath

This morning was my right hip replacement at the Southtown Surgery Center. Dr. McGraths the entire team where all amazing , professional and extremely knowledgeable. The entire experience was excellent. I couldn’t imagine anyone else performing the surgery except Dr. McGrath and his team!!

Dr. McGrath treated my mother and fixed a previous knee surgery (prior surgery not done by him) and did an amazing job. He was professional, kind and understanding.

No followup. No follow through. Leaves all the after surgery to his staff. Won't use him again. My guess is he is too busy and greed has dictated his practice.

Dr. McGrath performed surgery for a CAM FAI. Almost immediate relief was felt. He had a great bedside manner, explained everything in detail, answered all my questions. I am very happy with the professional staff that took care of me.

We almost switched doctors because of this website review. I am so glad I did not! I felt completely comfortable with Dr. McGrath's experience. He has over 30 years of experience with arthroscopic surgery. We were able to get a quick appointment and he quickly scheduled surgery. The outcome has been immediate relief. He explained everything and allowed us to ask questions and addressed all concerns. Excellent bed side manner. Excellent surgeon.

An excellent surgeon, Dr McGrath did a both a hip and knee replacement on me. I am very satisfied.

Dr. McGrath did a total anterior hip replacement on me in May 2015. I am 74 years old. It was done at Buffalo General Hospital in Buffalo New York. I recovered very rapidly. He is extremely approachable as is his staff. I cannot imagine getting better care from anyone or at any other facility.

He performed a bi-lateral core decompression as a first less invasive procedure and then when that failed he performed a bi-lateral hip resurfacing using Bi-Med. This was a FDA study at that time.
