A remarkable doctor
In my experience, three things make Dr. Crownover a uniquely talented doctor: 1) His depth of knowledge is amazing. He knows all the primary-care-doc stuff inside and out, but even when the health issue enters the realm of a specialist, he seems to know nearly as much as the expert in oncology, orthopedics - you name it. 2) He is very accessible and communicative. I can't tell you how many times I've been surprised to receive an email response from him late at night or on weekends. 3) He is incredibly organized and methodical, which I suspect reflects his time as a high-ranking doc (colonel) in the Army Reserve. He covers so much ground during our appointments, always follows up, and never drops the ball. As you can probably tell, I simply can't recommend Dr. Crownover highly enough.

Fantastic Physician
I'm very impressed wit Dr. Crownover and his staff. I never wait for more than a couple of minutes and he takes all of the time I need in every appointment. I've never had an issue scheduling time with him. Most of my friends and family are patients of his and speak highly of the service he provides. A++ Dr. C!

GREAT Physician
Dr. Crownover only recently became my PCP after my other doctor retired. He encouraged me to get a biopsy for a renal mass I've been following for FOUR YEARS with my "previous" urologist. Long story short: After meeting with my "new" urologist, had a cryoablation and biopsy done under general anesthetia on 4/21/22. Dr. Crownover called me today (4/22/22) with the results, even though I was told it would take a week by the team that performed the procedure. He even reached out to a oncologist prior to calling me, and showed a level of concern and immediacy that I very much appreciated, yet is seldom seen in todays' medical environment. By "encouraging" me to pursue a biopsy, he very well could have saved my life, which my wife of only 14 years, "hopefully" appreciates.... ;-)

Entire office doesn't care about your health
This office won't answer the phone for patients they don't want to see. They treat patients poorly and it seems like once someone's health becomes complicated (ie, terminal illness) they will completely ghost you for no reason. I don't recommend this office AT ALL.

Condescending bedside manner. Wants too badly to write too many new medications. Less interested in helping me feel better, more interested in helping me be more medicated. Rushed through the appointment and given guilt about taking up his time. His decisions seem to come from personal bias rather than scientific or medical fact.

He is the low income "Dr. Feel Good." He overcharges for office visits, is good for a script of tranquilizers, and will maintain you at a sufficient level of "sick" to keep you coming back. (i.e. money) You will never resolve your health issues, and will never receive a referral.

well I was very impressed with the time Dr. Crownover spent in getting to know my medical condition, about me, and how we might be able to improve. I liked him immediately and he did not disappoint. My husband met him the same afternoon and liked him as well. He had the same good experience.

Dr. Crownover is one of the rare physician I’ve had in my lifetime who is extremely talented-engaged, caring and interested in working alongside with you to find your specific needs and problems. He is kind, a great listener and teacher who spend his time with you as long as it takes till all your health problems and issues addressed. So no wonder he is excellent in diagnosis and all the related concern. My husband and I like his practice and all the office staff a lot. He is a true doctor.

Dr Crownover’s always takes the time to listen to my concerns and explain things to me so that I completely understand.. He’s very thorough and asks questions and encourages me to be proactive in my health. Our entire family is completely and faithfully his patients as we all trust him implicitly. He goes above and beyond in caring for us all. His staff is the best in the community from Jessica to each of the wonderful nurses. I couldn’t ask for better and am so thankful for him & his staff.

I had a terrible experience with the front desk lady Jess. She was very short and impersonal and made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. The front office personnel are the first encounter the patients have with the family practice. As a business, I would suggest having a team that welcomes patients and their families with warmth and not with cold eyes and bad attitudes. Besides the unwelcoming office assistant, the medical team and the doctor were fantastic.

I absolutely love this office! Dr. Crownover and his awesome team couldn't be more caring. Dr. Crownover takes care of all my family from my infant to my elderly parents - all with different medical conditions, so he specializes in literally everything. What I like the most is that they can get me in for an appointment very quickly if needed, always follow up on test results, and if there is an issue Dr. Crownover personally answers my questions on the phone.
