Dr. Brendan Carroll, MD

Dr. Carroll did my inguinal hernia surgery. Here are the facts. You be the judge.He diagnosed me in 10 minutes and recommend surgery without looking at a recent Cat Scan. He did not offer me Lathroscopic surgery and did not explain my options. Later, it would turn out his diagnosis was incomplete. 8 weeks after surgery, I am in pain all the time, so I scheduled an appointment with another doctor who took an hour to review and explain scans. Turns out the operation was not done correctly, so now I face the expense and pain of another operation to either repair or remove his mesh and surgery. In addition, Dr. Carroll did not wait to speak with me after surgery (he was rushing to catch a flight). The hospital apologized and said he would call to review surgery results. He never did. In subsequent visits, he could not explain the pain because he didn't study the available scans. Because of this doctor, I am now headed back into surgery...more pain, more downtime.

Dr. Carroll is a skill-less surgeon who should not be licensed to do surgeries. He lacks common sense and has no compassion at all. He is a real loser.

I went here for some minor outpatient surgery and ended up with an infection and other issues due to the negligence of this lousy physician.

This physician showed little interest and I did not feel comfortable with him and would not suggest you to use him for surgery. He is a bad choice

This so called doctor should have his license revoked to protect the general public. Run away fast.

Stay safe and healthy and stay out of harms way and do not hire Dr. Carroll as he will do you more harm than good. Do not risk your life with this bad surgeon. You have been warned.

I would NOT recommend Mr. Carroll to anyone. I warn anyone thinking of him performing your surgery that he is negligent and you should look elsewhere. Please do not make the mistake that I did.

Old school surgeon with outdated invasive techniques. For your safety go elsewhere to a modern-day surgeon. He is a bad choice.

Brendan Carroll is a horrible surgeon. He makes mistakes and then lies to cover up his errors. Do not consider him as your surgeon. You will be sorry.

Bad surgeon in every catergory: bad bedside, bad surgery and bad follow up. Simply Stay Away!

Carroll is a terrible low grade surgeon who does not communicate well. Look elsewhere and do not consider him as you will dissapointed. NOT Recommended..

Dr. Carroll did my hernia surgery in Mar. 2022. Easy to work with, very quick, clean and comfortable experience. Dyana, from Dr. Carrolls office made the whole experience flow very smoothly. She had to reschedule my appointment 3 times due to health issues that were based on my health problems. She did so flawlessly. Just a very comfortable experience all around. I would highly recommend Dr Carroll to anyone.

Best Surgeon Ever! He has operated on my dad twice, the first time we almost lost my dad he had gall stones which he ignored for a long time turned septic and his kidneys started shutting down they did not give us much hope, Dr. Carroll was called in and saved my dads life. 2nd time years later my dad had a hernia but because he was 80 at the time no one wanted to operate, I took him back to Dr. Carroll he did and my dad now leads a normal life no pain! Our family loves Dr. Carroll!!

after another doctor tied my small intestine in a big loop and nicked my colon trying to do a nephrectomy, cedars called dr. carroll to save my life. oh yeah, i had sepsis or septic shock. obviously i lived with no complications (after his surgery) and no permanent digestion problems. dr. carroll is an mazing surgeon.

This is not a review of the doctor (who did a fine job), but a review of his office staff and their billing service. Before I had my procedure, I was told I would be appraised of ALL costs associated with the surgery. I found out I had not been when I received an unexpected bill for $1200+ (!!) a few months later. I tried to get in touch with the office staff on several occasions, only to be ignored, while the billing service gave me the runaround for a few months. It's quite possible this was a

The nicest and kindest doctor I have ever met here in LA. HE together with his staff have an exceptional service!!! He is so humble given the expertise and knowledge he has in his chosen field. And not only that he has a very nice clinic... a very corporate looking! Truly, Worthy of a 5 star rating!
