Dr Waldrep performed my Gastric Bypass in 2003. He had never had a patient die as a direct result of surgery - AND I WAS about his 1000th case performed. I had no complications (which I do know is a Blessing from God) and I lost 99 pounds in my first 6 months. ( was 100# lost the next day). I lost 167# which was 1/2 my body weight, I have kept at least 117 pounds off since my surgery. I was 40 when I had it done and just went through a major spinal operation and am doing well. THANKS

Dr. Waldron performed and emergency appendectomy on me that was far from typical. He took care of this complicated procedure professionally and with a great amount of concern for the ease of my recovery. I feel grateful to have had him as my surgeon.

If not for Doctor Waldrep, I would have gone through two surgeries rather than one, and through a lot more pain. He diagnosed what the other doctors in ER missed, because he is truly concerns with his patients, he takes the time and analyzed deeper and further than just looking at the CT scan. He spent so much time explaining his diagnosis to my husband and me, we felt like I was treated by a family member. An amazing doctor!

Do not go to this doctor. He is out of town half the time, once he does surgery on you, he does not care about you anymore. (won't return phone calls)!!Horrible!! take my word for it, do NOT let him do surgery on you!! You will end up regretting it??

Several years ago Dr Waltrip performed gastric bypass surgery on me, which I know saved my life. I will always keep him in my prayers and be thankful that I have reached 65, able to retire and enjoy my life.
