Listened to me. Discussed his plan of care in dealing with chronic pain. Treats the whole person, not just a single symptom or entity. Academic research oriented, not just routine. The worst thing for this clinic is when Dr. Collins left and moved to Florida. I miss him terribly. ??

I researched to find a pain interventionalist board certified in both anesthesia and pain mgmt. We recently moved west from the NY Metro area where we had been treated very successfully by such a specialist. Dr. Collins is very knowledgeable and personable and took a teaching approach with me which I truly appreciate. He made a number of suggestions to help with my overall condition and recommended an injection in my spine. I am hoping to get the injection next week (subject to insurance approval) and to finally experience some pain relief to create a window for me to double down on my PT. I highly recommend Dr. Collins!

On my first visit Dr Collins I told him I was not there for meds, I wanted to know other options since I had been told surgery was not an option. He talked with me about all my meds, not just my pain meds, and how I was taking a few wrong and how to do it right. We also talked about diet, what foods I should avoid. He told me about several treatment options we could try to find out what would help me. The things he recommended really did help reduce my constant pain. I highly recommend Dr Collins because he listens, he cares and treats the whole person, not just the symptoms.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Collins for years and he’s the reason I’m able to work and function in society. I still have pain and some days it’s too much to manage but he’s why I have fewer days like that than I ever did before I met him. He’s goofy which helps me not want to slap him when he sticks me with needles. He’s compassionate and sympathetic without making me feel like he pities me, which is huge. I am so grateful for him and his team.

Dr. Collins, as always, has provided excellent service. He has been able to treat my pain management most effectively without the use of chronic medication use. He’s quite knowledgeable, explains physiology and treatment modalities in a manner that is easily understood. The office staff are great, the office is decor is welcoming.

One of the worst doctors I’ve ever seen in my 60 years. When he realized I had a conflicting meds issues he acted like I’d hid it from him, but it was there in my paperwork. He just quit talking to me during the exam, and made me feel terrible. Guess he didn’t want to admit his mistake.

I trust Dr. Collins completely. He makes me feel at ease & explains my issues so I understand them. When a patient like me has complicated issues, it's sometimes hard to explain what's really going on so the Dr. understands. Dr. Collins gets it immediately & helps me accordingly. He is honest & kind. I appreciate that. I like his assertive approach to the issues I have at hand. Dr. Collins has always behaved in a professional & intelligent manner to me. He has insight to the deeper problems I have. It is a breath of fresh air to be treated as a person & not just another sick patient.
