Horrible experience with this dr! What Dr pokes you in the neck and calls it an examination? This guy. Absolutely the rudest doc I have come in contact with in my 15 years of experience in the medical field. Unprofessional and cruel. I showed him where the hard lump in my neck was, he walked up to me took his finger and poked me in the neck with it, then says I don't feel anything. I was in complete shock by his behavior. He failed to properly examine me and dismisses my problem. Went back to my PCP who had sent me there and he was also very disappointed. Ordered an ultrasound which was positive for a calcified lymph node that needed biopsy. Staff was also horrible especially Chanel who continued to laugh and hang up when I would call as they suggested I try to see another dr in the practice which seemed to be some joke for them. Same treatment by management. This place is a joke, never will I suggest a patient go here. He also wrote false statements in my chart that were damaging to my patient reputation. The tests speak for themselves though and this guy is not a good doctor. I am emotionally scarred by the treatment of this practice and hope to save anyone else from experiencing the same.

Worst experience of my life at this practice. Out of the many doctors I had to see being so ill, Dr. Konkel is the absolute worst, the most Unprofessional, cruel, dismissive Dr I have ever met to date. I had a hard lump in my neck that was felt by my PCP, 2 other Dr's who sent me there. Dr Konkel literally poked me in the neck with his finger, saidI don't feel anything failing to properly examine me, it was completely shocking how he behaved just poking me in the neck!He was super cruel & told me I was making it up. I obviously went back to my PCP who re-examined me finding the hard obvious lump again he was blown away by Dr Konkels behavior as well. I had an ultrasound that confirmed I have a calcified lymph node & it indeed was real. Dr. Konkel did not treat me professionally on any level. In addition to that, Chanel the front desk when I would call to try to get my records would literally laugh at me & hang up the phone, multiple times, same with management. Never ever again.

I`m so pleased with Florida Cancer Specialists. Dr. Konkel went above and beyond what any other physician has ever done and called me at home after my appointment with some concerns and we are addressing them.

He is very thorough with his explanations. I don’t feel rushed.

You guys have absolutely the best office that I have been to dealing with all my cancer issues. If I could give you a ten or plus for every category I totally would. I`d like to appreciate you guys.

My appointment was with Dr. Konkel and I was not just very happy with his diagnosis and his recommendations but I appreciated his demeanor--his friendly, patient, receptive, easygoing manner which is not something I am used to from medical doctors.

Dr. Konkle and his crew are the best that my wife and I have visited in many, many years. You should be very provide in the services you provide and the way they are provided. We are extremely happy with our visit there.

Just wanted to thank this office for seeing us and let you know that everybody went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and keep us informed and it was a great great great experience.
