Rude Condescending and Impatient
I’m floored that this person is allowed to practice medicine in such an important field. Any medical success he’s had is utterly clouded by his horrible bed side manner. Dr Mamus clearly is not here to help. He talks to you like you’re stupid and unimportant. He apparently has better things to do than to take any time and care with his patients. I would quick run the other direction from him.

Rude and Condescending.
Run, don't walk from him. I have low iron, and he came in the room, asked me where my chart was, then walked out and grabbed it. I had a few questions, and he kept cutting me off and wouldn't listen to the question, nor answer it. Then he said I could take an iron drip or try supplements. I started to tell him I didn't have time that day to stay for the iron drip (I was waiting for him for over an hour), but could come back. His response was that since I was "so busy" (actually did the air quotes full of sarcasm), that I should just go and take supplements. Then walked out of the room. I can't believe this guy has a 4.3 rating, he was one of the rudest people I've met.

Mamus did not know what medications I was taking!
Dr. Mamus did not know what medications I was taking. It should have been on my chart which I diligently assisted in updating. This could have been catastrophic.

I was greeted at my second appointment by Dr. Mamus with him asking me was I there for having LUPUS!! Not only did he not read my chart before coming inside the room, but he ask me to remind him why I was there. So unprepared! I then had many of questions of why I was being asked each appointment to give blood for the same things over and over, only because I was nervous and did not know the terms to understand what was going on. He yelled at me and told me I don't have to do anything if I don't want and can leave. I sat there in tears as the assistant drew blood from me and apologizing for his behavior. I was hurt, scared, and confused. I only wanted him to explain things a little better, but he came inside the room already frustrated and seemed like annoyed with me from start. Imagine having something going on with you and go back and forward to the doctors for over a month and having the same result each time. Yesterday, I had to leave work from crying myself into an headache!

DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! – Apr 29, 2021

Would give a zero if possible. The worst "Director of Operations" Shanthy Gadam who is a liar, nasty woman who no one likes, and loves the power to drop patients for no valid reason! Every bill paid, sat quietly and received infusions only to be dropped with no notice. Dr. Mamus does not care about patients, only money, which he got every cent of. Dropping someone and risking their life is not ethical in any way. I would avoid this doctor like the plague if you care about your life! He does not follow the Hippocratic oath!

I felt Dr Mamus wasn't prepared when he came in to see me as he obviously didnt even look at the records I gave his MA prior to the appointment. He seemed rushed and not at all interested that I was there to see him for routine blood work. I saw him November 17th and its now December 25. I have messaged the office twice on the portal and left a voice mail with the MA to interpret my lab results. Crickets. Nothing. Im going somewhere I feel taken care of as a patient. I thought I was seeing a reputable doctor but I guessed wrong! Very displeased with this doctor.

I saw Dr. Mamus early this year, Jan-May. My first initial visit he seemed caring, kind and thorough about finding out what was wrong with me. However, every visit after that I felt rushed. He also seemed to not be prepared as to who I was and what his diagnosis was from our previous visit. I would question him, he would say I will be right back. Ten minutes later he would come back and it seemed he finally read my file. I had looked up other symptoms associated with what he thought I had and he seemed dismissive of them. He told me to come back in four months. Four months later now looking at full blown cancer.

BEWARE. Rushes and is rude if you require a conversation. He is all about making as much money as possible. I was left with a med student to do my initial patient interview. Doctor wasn’t even in the room! On the second appointment he tried to rush me out in 2 min. and was extremely rude when I questioned his diagnosis (since it had changed from the first appointment). I have never been so upset by a doctor in my life. Both appointments I had made were rescheduled by his office.

A doctor with an attitude.

Dr. Mamus is thorough in explaining what is happening, what treatments are available and whether they will work for you specifically. Dr. Mamus sits down when he enters the exam room and looks you in the eye - he takes his time with you and answers all questions, will discuss ideas with rationale behind them. He is interested in me when I'm there. He has research that backs up what he is offering and also what he does not recommend. I feel safe with his management of me and my husband.
