Gall bladder surgery
I had gall bladder surgery done today 5/27/2022. Everything went well. When I first saw Dr. Marker he was very knowledgeable of the surgery and what could happened. He gave me reassurance that I would be fine. I would recommend Dr. Marker for your survey needs.

I was treated rudely by this doctor after surgery for my son. We were told that my son should heal within 2-3 months. We returned as requested for check-ups and were told that everything was fine. 6 months later the wound had made little progress. We returned and were blown off by the doctor who said everything was fine; it was just taking a little longer to heal. 3 years later, a different surgeon, another surgery, and wound care to heal this wound that Dr. Marker said was healing fine.

I had a conversion from a lapband to a gastric sleeve on December 5, 2018. I have done really well. Dr Marker and his entire staff are amazing. Highly recommend him to anyone considering weight loss surgery.

Don't know who dropped the ball, but my wife did not receive any communication from the doctor after my surgery. We never received any communication from the doctor before I was discharged from the hospital. Someone was in the patient room the entire time. The hospital did make a follow up call, but one week after the surgery I have received no follow-up call from the doctors office. This is the reason for the low rating on spends appropriate time with patients.

I was admitted to the hospital with appendicitis. Dr. Marker was on call and performed surgery the next morning. He has an incredible bedside manner. He is very compassionate and caring and he also explains things in a way I understood. I would HIGHLY recommend him and I will use him again if the need arises.
