Insurance Challenges
I have been a patient of Dr. Chervin for years. When I showed up for my appointment, I was informed that my specific version of Blue Cross insurance would not be accepted, even though it was a PPO plan, which supported Out of Network providers. They told me that I would have to pay the full retail price of the visit and apply for reimbursement on my own, or I was told to find another Doctor. I was shocked at the terrible treatment I received from a practice that I have gone to for years. I found another ENT in the area. There is no excuse for being, effectively, kicked out from a Doctor's practice.

Charged double for appt. BEWARE!
After confirming the charge multiple times over the phone with the staff and the audiologist, Dr. Chervin and his audiologist charged us double for our appointment. We were told there were no hidden fees and that the price was confirmed by the audiologist. Then we were charged double after the appointment. No accountability was taken by him or the staff, just that they are currently understaffed. Beware of taking an appointment in his office as it seems it's about to shut down because they are so understaffed an uneducated. They don't even submit to insurance anymore, it's up to the patient to do that work because of their staff shortage.

Dr. Chervin is one of the most caring and engaged physicians I have had the pleasure to work with. He is interested in his patients lives as an extension of his superior medical care, he treats the whole patient, answers questions thoughtfully, never rushes or makes you feel that he is ready to move on to the next patient. He is an extremely competent doctor but above and beyond that is his truly exceptional "bedside manner." I cannot more strongly recommend him.

I saw Dr. Chervin in the ER a month ago and I was impressed with his attitude and diagnosis. Did a follow up today at his office and really like him and his nurse. Made us feel comfortable and felt they cared about me. Answered our questions so I could understand. Definitely they are a keeper

Doctor Chervin is an excellent doctor. Through his specialty, he has diagnosed a couple of issues that I’ve had for a number of years. He is very nice. He takes the time to answer all my questions and never hurries me. His team is also excellent.

Dr. Chervin initially diagnosed and has since treated my Sleep Apnea condition. Roughly a decade ago I first saw him. His prescription for treatment has resulted in my condition being fully under control. I am very well rested and enjoy significantly better health because of Dr. Chervin. His staff is always prompt and professional. I highly recommend Dr. Cervin

I saw Dr. Chervin for an ear problem. He diagnosed the problem quickly, promptly resolved the situation, provided a thorough ENT exam, discussed and set up a preventative plan for a follow up visit - all in a very comfortable, compassionate, professional and personal environment. His administrative office staff, his nurse Sue, and the audiologist Linda also added to the positive experience. I highly recommend Dr Chervin!
