I was told to see Dr. Hussain, so when I called the office, I asked to be scheduled with Dr. Hussain. They scheduled me with Dr. Jovanivic, which I did not realize until I went to my appointment. She is very friendly, but she said my positive ANA and lupus anticoagulant panel and other labs were nothing and that I felt bad because I'm fat, so I'm not sure how knowledgeable she.is For reference, I'm a 200 lb. 5'3 healthcare worker, and while I was in school I worked in a gym and had a free membership: I have quite a bit of muscle, plus I'm active at work by running around the office doing physically demanding work. She said I need to lose weight and eat better, which is laughable as I'm a vegetarian so my diet is already quite healthy. After my PCP ordered follow up labs 6 months later, she sent a mychart message about me needing an appointment to be evaluated for lupus. I'm not sure why she wants me to come in again if my last labs were a fluke, unless she wants to call me fat again.

The office is TERRIBLE! Not only did they originally fail to tell me I needed a global referral (okay, I’ll take the blame for that, I should have checked), they then rescheduled me and Dr. Jovanovic had an emergency; okay I totally get that. They rescheduled me a third time, same thing. So then I made an appointment for the other doctor for end of Febuary. Called to get my date and they said I didn’t have one, and soonest would be April. So, guess lying to potential new patients is a thing.

Received a medical degree from a college in Serbia. Poor English language. If you've emigrated from Serbia to the U.S., she could be of some help. But if you're an American, it's probably best to find someone else.
