Grateful for Life-Changing Care
I can’t say enough about how grateful I am for Dr. Awosika, Daphne Zidor, ARNP, and Claire Brown, Dietitian. After receiving my second COVID vaccine, I developed Chronic Kidney Disease. Whether or not it was related, the condition was real—and this team has helped me climb back to a safer level through thoughtful, compassionate care. Their approach—centered on a plant-based diet, exercise, and carefully balanced medications—has truly worked for me. Daphne may not have “MD” after her name, but her knowledge, insight, and close collaboration with Dr. Awosika place her on equal footing in my eyes. Claire Brown’s dietary guidance has been an essential part of my progress. The front office staff and remote blood pressure monitoring service are also invaluable. When my blood pressure spikes, I receive a call within an hour or two— “What’s going on, Mrs. ____?”—from a trained staffer who calmly walks through possible causes and next steps. It’s an incredible safety net.

Pleasant visit
I have been a patient of Dr. Awosika for a year now. The staff is very friendly each time I am there. and I feel that the doctor and the NP have my best interest in mind. On my first visit I was a little afraid of my diagnosis...after hearing the doctor and his plan of action for my health I was a bit more at ease. I appreciate the fact that there is a lab on site and tele visits are an option. This office serves the community and it is appreciated.

Poor doctor skills office management
Telehealth
I can't say anything good about this doctor because he is the leader of a medical office West Orange Nephrology. He and the other doctors head up a dialysis clinic and care for people with kidney disease. I was scheduled to have a telehealth visit on July 15 at 3:30 pm I was called and asked to reschedule to 4:45 pm I did and then went through triage with 'Nick' and sent a link to connect with the virtual appointment and was promptly forgotten about and the link went offline at around 5:30 pm when the entire office staff left for the day. I was completely forgotten about. When I spoke to 'Sam' this am on July 16th no apology until I asked for one and the staff responsible for the telehealth appointment lied and said I dropped offline. Do not use this office for your nephrology needs as the staff doesn't care one bit about your health and the doctors just want your money or your insurance money. It truly a TELL when you as a consumer of medicine in this country are reduced to a number

Banji Awosika BAD DOCTOR – Jul 16, 2024

I visited this clinic so many times and I met this doctor only in brochures on the tables. he put his pictures every where in the clinic to give you impression he's watching you. If you are going there for this specific doctor, you will be disappointed. you will meet random doctors and NP. waiting time extremely high over an hour after appointment time.

Does not make time for his patients, scheduled an appointment with him, but passed me on to a colleague when I arrived, never rounds is clinics, always makes his nurse practitioners round for him, does not make the effort to figure out causes of your current issues, is not good about acknowledging patient concerns

Does not share info or diagnosis with you. Works on his own agenda and never tells you. Has many office addresses he is not practicing at. Argues with you. Unable to view out of the box.
