Simply the best
Dr Karkoutly is indeed the finest cardiologist in Lubbock. He is laser focused on preventing serious heart problems. His office and staff, are professional examples of excellence in care. All tests can be conducted within the confines, of his clinic, saving precious time, and like in my case, life itself. Doctor Karkoutly has saved my life on two separate occasions. His immediate assessment of my condition, and following actions, prevented me from untold consequences. I admire his dedication to his patients, and steadfast belief, in “Total Patient Care”! His energy level, and work ethic are beyond reproach. I sincerely hope that Lubbock appreciates the fact that we are blessed, with this “Honorable Physician”! By the way: Stents Save Lives!

Negligent
Dr. Karkoutly wrote me a prescription for a drug, and I asked what the side-effects are. He claimed there are none. I said every drug has potential side-effects, and he said no, not this one. The pharmacy looked at me sideways and said this drug is OTC, so I don't need a prescription. I looked up the side-effects on multiple websites, and they both said this drug causes drowsiness and to avoid driving while taking it. Well I'm about to leave for a motorcycle road-trip, so I'm glad I looked it up. I called Dr. Karkoutly about this, and he doubled down, insisting that 1) I did indeed need a prescription, and 2) in his experience there are zero side effects, and claiming his personal experience is more significant than anything reported elsewhere. I'm glad the other reviewers here had such good experiences, but I will not be returning.

Dr Karkoutly and his staff are the best at taking care of us, their patients. They get you into the office fast, test are done at the office and you have results the same day. Dr K has saved my husband and brother from having a heart attack by catching blockages early and fixing them with stents. Dr K and staff are family to us!
