Dr. Aurelio Cervera, MD

I was in A-Fib and was introduced to Dr. Cervera. My first meeting made me at ease. He explained the ablation process and what his goal was. My case had some unseen issues and ten hours later I was wheeled into ICU. 15 years later my heart has stayed in rhythm. No issues. Dr. Cervera is one of the best doctors I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. He is a very funny man and is almost always happy and pleasant. I wish he was here in Ohio.

Dr Cervera listens, investigates, communicates and has your best interest at heart. (Pun intended) he will earn your trust. Very knowledgeable, but down to earth.

Cervera listens to me and genuinely cares about my health. He's definitely one of my favorite doctors, if not my favorite!

Dr. Cervera spent over 8 hours and two procedures and fixed my heart. Scar tissue from a heart attack was sending an occasionally a false signal. He figured it out. He is a wonderful MD and really nice man.

I thought he was a wonderful doctor but since he moved his office his staff is horrible! I have been calling for two weeks and no one will call back…. I guess it’s time to find another doctor

We have had the best care with Dr Cervera. He answered all our questions & we have totally trusted his decisions. My husband has been going to him for 7 years now & we appreciate that he is caring & his staff is excellent. We have recommended him to many family members & friends.

I had no insurance and thought for sure I was going to need to go to Dallas or something and instead found Dr. Cervera! He was willing to work with me financially so I could have my ablation done at South Plains Surgery Center. He even helped me find a cardiologist! I am forever grateful.

Amazing. Really he is. I’ve been dealing with family history for many years and have lost my loved ones due to same symptoms. I’ve seen many doctors in past 12 years and 1000% believe anything he suggests. He has taken the extra step to continue to find what is happening with me and from his determination has found what is wrong. A rare case. I strongly recommend him and his staff!

Absolutely love him!!! His knowledge and expertise is off the charts!! He is always willing to explain, in detail, what is going on with your health, what your options are, and what YOU would like to do to fix your concerns. He gives you multiple options, if there are any available, and always tries the least invasive first if applicable. Wonderful beside manner and over all just a really good person.

He is awesome. I have recommended him to several of my friends and family.

Dr Cervera has done two ablation procedures on me. One in Nov 2018 and one in April 2019. I had real bad Afib the first time and I had a irregular heart beat my second time. My Afib was so bad it masked my irregular heat beat and wasn't noticed till my scar tissue healed up and was found at the 4 month check up. I just had my one month check up since my second procedure and my heart was beating regular! I'm feeling Great and I go back in 10 weeks to test my hearts strength. I would rec-amend him to anyone! I was told by many that he was about the best in his field in Lubbock and I agree! I've never heard anything but good about him!

When I was told that I needed a cardiac ablation, I was terrified. A surgical procedure involving my heart was a bit overwhelming. Dr. Cervera took the time to explain the procedure and answer my questions. His knowledge and confidence were reassuring, as was his kindness and compassion. My ablation was a success and I feel great. Dr Cervera is an excellent physican and I would highly recommend him.

My first cardiac ablation was performed in ABQ., NM in March 2015. Six months later I was in Lubbock, TX for a second cardiac ablation. I was confused and terrified, because my previous doctor had told me that I was cured. Dr. Cervera was sensitive to my fears and concerns; he was professional in his explanations and answered all my questions with kind patience. As we discuss my health care; I am listened to and allowed an active part in that care. I have recommended Dr. Cervera to co-workers.

Fortunately for me I was referred to Dr Cervera after my cardiologist couldn't help me with my atrial fibrillation. Dr Cervera performed an ablation and I haven't had an afib episode in almost four months. He has always been very kind and informative and seems to genuinely care about his patients. I am very grateful for his help. I feel better than I have in the last 3 years and would recommend him to anyone .

Dr. Cervera is the best doctor I have ever had. I was having very bad heart rhythm problems, and I was close to dying. Dr. Cervera quickly diagnosed what was wrong with me and very quickly thereafter performed a heart ablation operation on me. Everything has gone great for the last year and one half since then. I thank God that he brought me to see Dr. Cervera. I highly recommend him.

What a first class jerk! Dr. Cervera was my doctor during emergency open heart surgery in December 2011 in San Antonio, Tx. I called his officein 2016' now in Lubbock, and asked if he would write a letter about my surgery for a disability claim with the veterans administration. I was told he doesn't write letters unless I was a current client! Really, I should drive to Lubbock for a letter on work he has already performed.
