I had been accompanying a family member for their health issues. After a few visits, the staff had become visibly hostile and did not return any calls; all of our voicemails requesting for calls-backs were never returned, which made it even more worrisome for the patient's well-being. While the hostility may be reciprocated by the patient's way of speaking, neglecting the patient due to how the staff is feeling is extremely unacceptable. If the whole team is apathetic and let emotions run decisions, this is not a safe place for patients. Although Dr. Casano had not display any concerning behavior, reaching out for help through her staff made the experience very unforgettable. Specifically, Crystal the scheduler, and Heather the MA, both showed a lack of interest when helping this patient due to their discontent.

The Absolute Best Surgeon I have ever met!
Dr Casano is the best surgeon I have ever met. Her personal care and concern for me as an individual was truly heartfelt! It is so rare to find a surgeon that is as amazing in the operating room as she was to me personally. I would highly recommend you look no further if your looking for an amazing surgeon. Dr Casano removed almost 6 inches of my Sigmoid Colon and repaired my small intestines that were badly damaged from my Diverticulitis with complete success. She created a plan that helped give me the best chance to avoid a colostomy and she was skilled enough to complete my surgery robotically without the need for a colostomy! Her bedside care at the hospital along with her associates was admirable and put my mind at ease knowing that Dr Casano and her team had my back! And on top of all of this, her office staff at A.A.S are a pleasure to deal with! Heather was amazing!

Review of Office
I visited Dr.Casano only once initially for an acute problem. It took me 3 days initially to get my first apt. You have to leave a message and get a call back from Yollle Before going to the ER I called and left message with Heather her MA Again got a message that I would get a call back within 24 hrs. Went on my own to the ER After being discharged I called and left message again with Heather regarding what meds I should be on Again left message. Got that call back in 1 day and said she would have to talk toDr. Casano Also called to get follow up Apt. Again left message with Yolle, who did not call back for 1 week. In the meantime Went my PCP the next day and received medication. When At the pharmacy to pick up found a prescription was called in by Dr.Casano Two Days later Healther called to tell me she talked toDr. and was going to call in prescription. She may be a good DR.but her office is terrible, especially if you have had Surgery by her. No recommendation

My absolutely must share my relationship with Dr Ashley Casano and her assistant who far and exceeds the mere words assistant Heather Talkington. I have lived a life long battle with my colon it is not possible to fully express my gratitude to Dr. Casano she saved my life. From the moment I met Heather and Dr.Ashley Casano I knew the journey was finally over and there was hope. I may have called Heather a million times as as my new adjustments were and are both mentally and physically life changing and she has always been there for me with a wealth of knowledge and kindness. Dr Ashley Casano has gone far above to provide me with absolutely the very care the right answers and has been restless to ensure me that everything is going to be alright I truly trust with my life.

Dr. Casano is hands down the best surgeon I have met so far. She is very thorough, knowledgeable, caring, compassionate and goes the extra mile to make sure you are well taken care of. She is always there for her patients because she cares. She is a very good professional and deserves to be Best doctor in Arizona.

I had more than a visit. Dr. Casano was referred to me after a 5 day hospital stay for Complicated Diverticulitis. I met with her in her office where she addressed my concerns, answered all my questions, and took care of all my needs. She performed surgery to remove my sigmoid colon with absolutely NO bad side affects or trauma! She was professional and knowledgable! I highly recommend her to anyone needing a surgeon specializing in colorectal issues!
