Dr. MacDonald was very personable, informative, knowledgeable & “ down to Earth.” She did not suggest surgery as a first resort & that is a good characteristic of a surgeon. The office personnel was very friendly & efficient as well.

I made an appointment with Dr. MacDonald for a second opinion on the recommendation for a second surgery on my right ankle. She reviewed the reports and scans and explained clearly what she’s seeing and what should be done. Dr. MacDonald is professional, thorough, personable and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend her for any ankle/foot issues one might have.

Terrific Doctor
Dr. McDonald is very personable. She took time to answer my questions and explain what was going on with my foot. She was thorough regarding the treatment plan and was just all around nice. I felt she really cared about me as a person.

Very patient oriented
Personable, explained diagnosis (2 fractures in fibula), options, pros and cons of each. She kept me involved in the decisions and never rushed me while doing so. She's exactly what I think s physician should be.

Surgery or not?
After much discussion and viewing x-rays, Dr. Macdonald is quite open with her view of whether or not surgery is the best option for a foot problem. Her pros and cons provide the patient with a much easier decision - in my case, no surgery for a bunion that causes little or no pain.
