Asked no questions, did not prep for appointment
Dr. Mollaeian has a lot of expertise and is probably an excellent caregiver for many of his patients. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. He spent no time prior to our visit reviewing my case and made some terrible recommendations throughout. He denied receiving copies of my MRI (and found them minutes later in his inbox), asked almost no questions about my history, made all his recommendations based off the notes of my previous rheum, and then finally suggested I 'try swimming' as an exercise substitute for weightlifting, because lifting is 'bad for people with hypermobility'. Reader, I was a competitive swimmer for 15 years, and this caused the chronic injury I was seeking support for. I felt condescended to and not taken seriously. Positives from the visit: he referred me to a different doctor. I would not recommend Mollaeian to any (young and-or woman) person who wants to be taken seriously by their provider.
