Horrible attitude
After having a brilliant Rhuematolgist—Dr. Andre Barkhauizen—who treated my Anklosing Spondilitis for 13 years, he went into research. I was referred to Dr. Goel and upon the first moment I felt as if I somehow did this person wrong. I tried several times to reset the conversation but she had a VERY condescending attitude towards me. At that point she was hopelessly unprofessional and I just wanted out of there. I now have a wonderful rheumatologist at Providence Arthritis Center.

Dr. Goel was a pleasure. She is direct, asks clear questions and gives straight answers. No time is wasted. I left my visit with all my questions answered. I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone.

I have been going to Dr Goel for about 15 years. I have found her knowledgeable, professional and truly caring. I have been fortunate enough that I am in remission so I only see her once a year, but she always remembers me and my specific situation. She is the one Doctor that I look forward to seeing.

If you enjoy being talked down to and treated like a child by a know it all who refuses to listen to you, Dr. Goel may be right for you. I saw Dr. Goel only once and that was enough. She is extremely condescending and treated me as if I'm dumb for not knowing what is wrong with me already. She does not listen to any input but her own. I would not recommend her to my worst enemy. Because even my enemies deserve to be treated with respect and to have their concerns taken seriously.

Went to her twice, in the last month, and I found she knows what she is doing, gets straight to the point. She had her assistant call me three times, between appts., to check on my progress. Someone else posted that they waited for two months for their appt and arrived a couple minutes before the appt, to find out it was cancelled. I confirmed yesterday, they tell patients to arrive 20 minutes before an appt and since she is in high demand, I understand cancelling when someone is late.

My visit sounds exactly like Traci's. Dr. Goel wouldn't listen to my symptoms and it was barely a 15 min appt. She didn't exam me or do blood work or anything. She barely even asked questions. She lightly pushed on trigger points with all my clothes on (including a sweatshirt), asked me if it was tender, then said I had probably Fibromyalgia. I feel like she had already had her mind made up about me before I even got to the room. I also left there feeling disrespected with no answers.

She wouldn't listen to my symptoms , wouldn't look at my MRI reports I took with me. it was a 15 min appointment. She pushed on trigger points, asked me tender here and there, then said I had Fibromyalgia, handed me a piece a paper with mayoclinics website on it, told me to look it up and do research on it. No blood work, nothing! I left there with no answers. Tests have been done by someone else, came out positive for lupus; more tests ahead of me. I will not go back to that doc.

My appointment was scheduled for 10:30 (they say 10:20). I arrived at 10:26 and the front desk said I was late and my appt. had been cancelled by Dr. Goel. I waited 2 months for this appt.! I was told to reschedule which mean't waiting another 2 months. I suffer from Raynauds which has made each day painful to walk. I asked the Office Manager the length of the appt. Reply was 40 minutes. Dr. Goel could not see me for 34 minutes? That tells me a lot about Dr Goel. Not worthy of one star
