Dr. Aparna Komatineni, MD

I’m extremely disappointed in Dr. Komatineni. Blood work was done came out with a positive result for an infection.No one called me about this Dr. Komatineni said if something was not good she would let me know. Nothing. Tried to get her to send results to primary Dr. called all day on Monday. I had to pick up orders to bring to primary Dr. I’m so upset that know one has taken this seriously. Still trying to get with my primary Dr. to recheck my blood work. When it should have been done by your office.

I started having migraines in 2000. Amazingly I had my first round of injections in June of this year and have not have a migraine that I would consider even calling a bad headache.

My experience with Northstar Neurology was exceptional from the courteous from the beginning phone call, to the warm welcoming front desk personnel to the most welcomed time Dr K. spent ascertaining what my medical problem might be and most importantly how to get me the best care possible. Dr. K is thorough, takes copious notes and then explains what she hears and sees before recommending a course of action, plus she shares her notes with her patient so the patient walks away with more than "just what he/she hears." She is also an excellent listener. She probes to get the most out of a patient's answer giving her additional information relevant to the patient's problem. I have the utmost respect for her ability and patient compassion. If ever in need of a neurology consult, do not hesitate to see Dr. K. As an aside, my problem was not neurologically related but Dr. K set me on the right path to correct the problem and then personally followed up with me. She is a 6 star doctor!

Excellent, caring, and dedicated professional. I have been receiving migraine treatments from her for a long time. She always as time to talk and listen to your concerns. I would recommend her to anyone who needs a neurologist.

Without a doubt, this was the best office visit I have had in decades. Dr. K took notes while I talked and then discussed each point to my total satisfaction. That has NEVER happened to me in all these years. (I'm 70.) She conveyed a genuine interest in my situation. Her personality and "bedside manner" made me feel like I was talking with a long time friend. This visit was so different and so positive that I had to write this review.

Doctor K. Is both a talented physician and a caring person. She is insightful and partners with you to work on your health.

Dr. Komatineni is amazing! For the first time I am optimistic about my migraines and cervical dystonia. With Her help they have improved dramatically! I don't know what I would do without her!

I wish all my doctors were like Dr K. She always has a positive attitude and makes sure she explains what she is talking about so I fully understand. I have highly recommended her and will continue to do so.

Dr K is awesome - thorough, compassionate, did not rush us through, listened to our concerns and answered all our questions. I would definitely recommend her to anyone that needs a Neurologist.

Dr K demonstrated such respect for me as a patient. She listened thoughtfully, explained completely and gave me a plan of action that has proven successful. All in a friendly and caring manner. Just what one hopes for in a physician.

I am so fortunate to have Dr. Komatineni as my neurologist. She is a top notch physician who cares and spends quality time with her patients. I went in for a routine 18th month checkup and was asked how I was doing. Mentioned my shoulder problem and she was able to pinpoint what she thinks is causing the problem. MRI ordered immediately.

Love the doctor but the scheduling department is AWFUL! I've been trying for over a month to get a follow-up appt. No return phone calls & schedulers are *always busy* assisting other callers but after a 30 min wait time, it goes to VM that doesn't get listened to as I am still waiting for a reply!

Hands down the best Neurologist in Colorado Springs!

At this point I've been to many docs who treat Parkinson and Dr. Aparna is by far the best of the best!
