Dr Chan and the staff at this office are incredible. Dr Chan is amazing and I wish she wasn't retiring but I know the staff will continue to be awesome!

My care provider and the staff are the best. Actually, got in 45 minutes early because I had a previous appointment on another floor, so I was quite early.

When I met Anita Chan I felt heard. She listened to me and addressed my concerns. I wanted her to be my doctor. I did not receive that care at the Glisan women's clinic where I had my OB appointments for pregnancy and I wish I had been in her care sooner. I'm very sad she's retiring.

Dr Chan is outstanding. By far, the most knowledgeable GYN in town. Her experience is profound and her judgement is always spot on. Despite her nearing retirement, she will always be a physician that others should strive to compare with. She is a gold star on the list of providence providers

My OBGYN provider Dr. Anita Chan who understands not only medical knowledge, but she also provides me exceptional care and patient centered-care. I like her because she can also speak and explain medical details in Cantonese with me.

My experience with Dr. Chan was negative. I am a sexual assault survivor and disclosed this and was very open about this in regards my worries about labor and delivery. As a new mom who had been in labor for three days and just undergone a C-section I was then given my child to nurse. I tried to nurse my child with a method told me previously by a lactation expert—hold the child’s nose until he opens his mouth and then shove the nipple in. I did this and did it badly, I’m sure, it was 30 minutes after a c-section. The nurse took my baby away and then Dr. Chan tried to get me committed and take medicine to stop me breast feeding. They called CPS on me. I think this is why they did it, I honestly don’t know, the whole thing was confounding and they never shared why they did these things. I believe they did this because they didn’t have faith in my mental acuity and wellness because I had shared my PTSD diagnosis and previous sexual assault. Don’t go to Dr. Chan if you’re vulnerable.

Very rude and horrible bedside manner. I have never been shamed in my life. I am 28 weeks pregnant and she spent my whole appointment scolding me for my weight and for my age and told me I should not have anymore kids. She said I was lucky to have one. She said I would never lose my baby weight and I was causing harm to my baby by being overweight. She asked me a couple times if I was having twins and made RUDE comments that I was so big. I have never in my life been shamed like that. She spent the whole appointment criticizing me and making me feel horrible. I spent the whole night crying after seeing this horrible doctor. She told me I was too old to be having a child. She had no idea of my infertility issues and had absolutely NO compassion at all. Very rude lady who should not be seeing pregnant women. She was NOT supportive at all and made me feel horrible.

Dr. Chan has been incredibly helpful in diagnosing and treating some issues that other Physicians have misdiagnosed over the years. She has great experience and insight, is a good listener, and is genuinely caring with a tremendous bedside manner. I would recommend her to any woman needing care.

I went in for a check up and to get screened for STDs. Instead of showing compassion and concern, Dr. Chan rudely pushed her personal values on me, telling me "You really ought to limit your sexual partners so you don't have to worry about these kinds of things." Anita, you are supposed to make your patients feel safe and welcomed, not judged and hurt! I was totally offended by her talking down to me and do not feel it was her place to tell me how to live my life.

Dr Chan delivered my baby on 10/12 via C section. i was very nervous to have the surgery and she made sure and kept me calm the entire time. I was very impressed with how smooth the delivery went. My scar looks fantastic compared to a previous c section I had nine years ago. I had a more complicated pregnancy having gestational diabetes and with her help I delivered a happy healthy baby boy. All the medical assistants in the office are very friendly as well.

Dr. Chan guilted me into receiving a flu vaccine when I specified why I didn't want one. She also missed my delivery after showing up to the hospital to tell me that it was "her day off" and that she needed to go pick up her car. Luckily I loved the on call doctor so it was a blessing that she didn't deliver because I honestly felt like she would not have honored my delivery wishes. Also the day after she came to check on me anr asked "how much did th kid weight?" Terrible bedside manner.
