Negligence, lack of communication
My husband was seen by Dr Ukleja, in October 2022, he ordered different tests, diagnose was enteritis, (results came out on line in my chart) however he did not call back nor prescribed antibiotics, weeks passed and my husband completely deshidrated due to chronic diarrhea, contacted his office without success, no one in that office gave him further instructions at all so he ended up at the ER, he now has, besides enteritis, a lack of potassium and calcium, he is under a heart monitor since low potassium may cause heart failure and yes, my husband does have prior heart condition. So, why does a patient fills up a long chart as a new patient? To make sure the Dr knows about prior conditions to consider, right? How long can any individual stand diarrhea without serious dehidration? Total disaster, he may be a good scientist but total lack of ethics, unbelievable! Laura Flores Flannery

This doctor seems knowledgeable in his field. However, he has one of the worst bedside manners of any doctor I’ve ever encountered. During our visit he suggested bloodwork and a CT, both of which I agreed to. His office never called me to schedule either. I contacted him directly via the patient portal asking when I could be scheduled for the bloodwork and CT he recommended. He didn’t reply. Days later, I inquired again via email. Again, he ignored my message. It’s like I never saw a doctor because other than participating in a rushed conversation, he did nothing to address my health. I can’t believe my insurance was billed for such a bogus visit.

I was referred to Dr. Ukleja, my first visit was odd felt like I was infringing on his time, surprised that he wanted to check things out which gave me some reassurance in the visit. After procedure ran fevers, felt awful, lost voice, was choking badly. Staff was rude to me, in two weeks no calls for help returned by Dr. Forced to local ER. No followup, then given to a nurse practitioner who could not answer questions nor examine my throat. Was not given meds either that were noted by Dr.

I have had a year of multiple gastro issues and not the best care in the past. After just meeting Dr. Ukleja today, how thorough he was with his explanations, his urgency and execution and just the fact that he listened has definitely given me a light at the end. I'm looking forward towards my journey back to health under the care of Dr. Ukleja
