Truely Cares For His Patients
Dr. Grade took the time and effort to talk in depth about my medical history. His advice and follow-ups are aiding me in solving my gastro problems.

New Patient Experiences
I was a little disappointed that after having to wait months to see Dr Grade, he told me that he had limited time to talk to me. This seems to be the norm in AZ, i.e., more patients than Doctors. Anyway, I truly respect Dr Grades desire to get a handle on my GI issues. He explained that he wanted to start from scratch because no testing or plan for care was implemented since I moved here 5 years ago. Yep, a whole slew of tests are awaiting me. I really wanted to discuss the road I’ve been on since 2000. I only had maybe 5-10 minutes to talk about the most important things in that short time. I believe in all his thoughts and all the re-do testing. Dr Grade only wants to look at the here and now. I completely agree. The only negative is his bedside manner. Yes, he listened to me, but he hardly ever looked me in the eye. Regardless, I would absolutely recommend him for anyone needing a good GI Dr.

Long Term Dissatisfied Patient
Dr. Grade is exceptionally intelligent in his care, he however has no bedside manner. When I asked to understand the plethora of tests he advised me "you don't understand," and "I'm the doctor." He does NOT like to explain why he's doing anything to a person. If you prefer a doctor to dictate to you then he's your doctor. If you prefer to be involved in your health then he is NOT a doctor for you.

I had concerns about my G.E.R.D. and Dr. Grade recommended an endoscopy to see what was going on.. He performed the test and told me my results..will do a follow up soon.. very Personable and a great bedside manner..That is an important quality for me and of course being knowledgeable.. I felt confident in his care.
