No apology after 2 hour wait.
None of his support staff bothered to call patients that Goodwillie was running over an hour late. When I finally got to see the doctor it didn't even phase him to make an apology. I overheard him laughing with his assistant in the outer hallway that I needed to leave soon as I had been waiting 2 hours to see him. What the f

He takes the time to explain everything concisely in a way that is easy to understand. He helped my son who had 3 knee dislocations and wasn't going walk without surgery. My son is now thriving and walking. I will forever be grateful. He's a compassionate expert.

I found Dr. Goodwillie to be quite a narcissist. One would hope a person becomes a doctor to help others, and as a healer empathy and patience “should” be a priority. There are a few exceptional doctors at this practice. If bedside manner is important to you, I suggest you look for someone else. I am disappointed in myself for not saying something before we parted ways. Instead, I let his arrogant demeanor fester to the point I felt it necessary to write this. I gave Dr. Goodwillie one star because I managed to get an X-ray, otherwise, I suggest you find a different doctor... one who can get his head through the door.

Dr. Goodwillie clearly communicated the extent of damage to my rotator cuff tendon by converting technical jargon into readily digestible (yet not condescending) language while simultaneously providing confidence that he would be able to surgically repair the tear so I can get back to living without pain and engage in athletics requiring full shoulder rotation.

Dr. Goodwillie and his eye rolling PA was completely rude. They basically yelled and belittled my mother asking why she was there, telling her that they do not manage arthritic knee pain and structural damage. We were referred by another provider to see them after she underwent an MRI. He literally said he will not operate on a 70-yr old right now but she may need one in 10-yrs. We were unable to discern if she does not medically need this right now, or if he was just being rude as the whole ordeal was unpleasant and awkward. There is a way to talk to people even if he felt that it is not his area of expertise. His PA looks like she is burnt out and does not care at all. She typed away on the computer without asking us questions---my mom ended up offering information. In all fairness, he was good at the first visit, explained things and was thorough. His PA was horrible from the beginning.

Always thorough, friendly, and did an amazing job with my steroid injection. My first injection (done by a different Dr) did not go well and I wasn’t recovering. I understand that can happen but after Dr Goodwillie did my second injection, I began to feel better the next day. He listens and converses with you to come to solutions together. Great Dr.

Dr Goodwillie was very rude and abrupt at my visit. After waiting almost an hour in the patient room for him to come he quickly breezes through my MRI results. He did not seem interested in helping me get out of pain. Will not recommend him to anyone.

Rude and very disinterested in my Knee Injury. His office is like an assembly line...in and out 123...collect a copay. Lazy and dishonest. The person who left a previous review is right. If he’s not cutting and making money he could care less about a regular office visit. He needs a reality check.

If I could leave more stars, I would. A wrong step had completely hobbled me. Two docs, in an unrelated office, said they wouldn't rush to operate on an older person, even one who goes to the gym 3 hours every day, and I should wait 2 months. Dr. G did a knee exam, said it's a mechanical issue, and "I can fix this." He answered all questions & drew pictures. Post-operative photos showed waiting would clearly have made it worse & could be dangerous! The knee is fixed! Staff was amazingly nice.

He did my ACL reconstructive surgery on my right knee which went really well. Amazingly I didnt have any pain after surgery. Maybe because part of my knee area is still numb for a cut in some nerve explained nurse Sara. Overall I had a smooth experience.
