Dr. Goins is extremely intelligent, kind, and patient. I am living in Mississippi now but still go to him instead of finding a new doctor here. He is organized and always takes a lot of time to make sure that he has answered all my questions. I highly recommend Dr. Goins.

Excellent Physician Highly Recommend
Dr. Goins is thorough, patient and comes across as compassionate. He listens attentively, never makes me feel rushed, clearly explains things and provides a big picture view of my healthcare. I trust him and believe he cares about his patient's outcomes. His office staff can be quite rude and unhelpful as well as unresponsive. Beware of Donna that does referrals, she is rude and slow to send referrals. If you can ignore the treatment of the office staff and the office manager then definitely see Dr. Goins.

Dr. Goins is Best!
I have been seeing Dr. Goins since he began his practice. I have always found him easy to deal with. He listens and tries to get to the bottom of your issues. He takes his time, is easy to talk to, and actively listens. I would not go to anyone else! The office staff is wonderful also!!

Doesn’t take time to listen!
Dr. Goin’s treats patients like numbers instead of as human beings with concerns. He rushes through visits and gets visibly frustrated when asked questions. He is prescription happy and doesn’t include patients in their treatment plans. Go literally anywhere else.

Terrible experiences – May 06, 2022
×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Goins?
If anyone has complex medical issues, I do. Autoimmune disorders, vein malformations, random lumps, blood sugar issues, psychiatric complaints... I started having this problem where I felt like I was being strangled and that my brain wasn't getting enough oxygen. I had tried everything...even self-medicating! Many other doctors would have dismissed this as a psychiatric condition. Hypochondria perhaps? I was a mystery patient for a long time until Dr. Goins suggested I try a new neurologist. I don't have the best insurance, but Dr. Goins was able to get me into see a new neurologist with all my complex problems. I was able to get the answers and surgery I needed and realized I had been dealing with these symptoms for over 20 years but had been blaming them on my other conditions. Several of the conditions that I have are not curable, but I no longer feel like I am being strangled every waking hour! Thank you, Dr. Goins!!! You don't realize how much you are appreciated!

Dr Goins what can I say, other than it is hard to be down when he walks in the room with his bright smile. Even when I'm feeling my worst he manages to get a smile out of me :-) he is calm, relaxed, and takes his time. I like that as I have so many issue and told him that when I first him I'm a mess and just shook my head.. he said ok let's start with what bothers u the most and we will go from there and we did and we have been chipping away at my issues ever since.. ty Dr Goins ur Great ;-)

If you have any complex medical issues, don't bother. I specifically had a conversation with him about rxing a med that I need to function. He said it wouldn't be a problem. Just had to get records from my former DR. I explained to him what he would & wouldn't find in the records. Still not a problem. I didn't want to run out of the med. It took a week before the record request was faxed to my old MD. Records came in. Refused to prescribe it. Completely back pedaled from what he told me.
